One year later

"Good morning maam."

"Good morning engineer."

"Good day maam."

One year had pass and this is my first week working at our company. Kakauwi ko lang galing france. Simula nong nangyari between me and jane i became colder. 2 weeks after non umalis ako't pumuntang france. Don na rin ako nag take ng board exams at doon nag train for being the new C.E.O and head engineer ng company namin. I became busier like hell.

As I walked into the company all of my employee's stood up and greeted me. I didn't bother to greet them back. I just continued walking with full of confidence and an intimidating aura 'til I reached my office. I sat down on my chair to relax a bit and minutes had passed someone knocked on the door office.

"Good morning maam, nandito napo lahat ng mag aapply bilang secretary mo." -fely said as she entered the office. She's one of my trusted employee here.

"Okay. Let them in one by one. I'll be the one who'll interview them." -I said with a poker face. Fely's a bit shock.

"Kayo po? Sure po ba kayo? Pwede naman po'ng ako nalang kasi baka may iba pa kayong gagawin maam"

"Mag iinterview ba ako kung sa tingin mo may gagawin ako? Do what I said. MOVE!" -she panicked and ran through out the door. Another minutes had passed the door open again. A woman with a smiling face entered my office WITHOUT KNOCKING! Maybe one of the applicants.

"Good morni---" -I cut her off.

"Get out of my office. You're not qualified!" -i said without even looking at her.

"Maam? Magpapa interview pa po ako." -she reasoned.

"I know. Ako ang mag iinterview and I dont entertain people who doesn't know the word MANNERS. You entered my office without knocking? Who are you huh?" -i looked at her with death glare. Natakot ata kaya lumabas bigla.

30minutes had passed but wala nang pumasok ulit. Hmm? I pressed the intercom connected to fely.

"Fel may mag aapply pa ba or what? They're wasting my time!"

"Meron pa po. Nag reready lang po maam, papasok na yung next." -she answered. I turn it off and lean on the table. Someone knocked.

"Come in." -i said flatly. A small girl entered with a trembling hand. Anyare dito?

"G-goodmmorning p-poo maam." -she greeted me nervously.

"Sit down please." -I remained looking at her making her feel uneased.

" whats your fullName? Age? Degree? and why should I hire you?" -i asked.

"I'm Nikki Abriel po. 19 years old. 1st year college taking up business administration. You should hire me maam because aside from being a hardworking i know what I am capable of." -her answers are fine but, no. She's so young.

"You're only 19? Still young but good. You may go, my assisstant will call you." -I dismissed her shortly. She nodded then went out.

"NEXT!" -I shouted. Someone knocked twice then entered my office. A firm woman, tall, has a long straight hair and tomboy?

"Good morning madame, kumatok po ako bago pumasok ah. Baka pa alisin nyo rin ako bigla haha." - nagulat ako the way she approached me. Close tayo teh?

"Sit down. Tell me your fullname, age, and degree." -tiningnan ko sya ng walang kagana-gana.

"I am Jessa Mea Plarisan Malaque. 23 years old. 3rd year college taking up BS tourism maam" -she answered confidently. Not bad.

"Why should I hire you?"

"You should hire me ma'am because I believe that you are hiring." -she then smiled.

"What can you contribute to my company?"

"Ay hala? May ambagan pala dito maam? Nag a.apply lang naman ako eh. Magkano po ba? Pwedeng ibawas nalang sa sweldo ko? Wala akong pera ngayon eh" -inosenteng tanong nya. What the fudge?

"Are you kidding me? Anong klaseng sagot yan miss plarisan malaque? And is this your surname? Or middle name tong plarisan?" -nagtatakang tanong ko.

"No maam i'm not kidding I swear. I'm just answering your question po. And you can call me Miss plarisan or Miss malaque maam. Pili lang po kayo kung ano gusto nyo, pero mas bet ko po yung Miss Malaque. Apelyido palang malaki na. Malaque ang boobs, ang eyebags, at syempre malaque ang pangarap." -she answered me with a big smile on her face. Sumasakit ulo ko sa babaeng to-,-

"Ginagago mo ba ako Miss-who-ever-you-are? You're applying as my secretary and kinakausap moko na parang nasa kanto lang? Is this a joke to you huh?" -i asked her coldly.

"No maam i'm sorry. Sabi kasi ng papa ko magpaka totoo lang ako sa sarili ko. Kung ano yung tanong yun lang din sasagotin ko. And dont worry maam kahit ganito ako makipag usap maayos naman po akong mag trabaho. Magsisipag po ako kasi ako yung nag tataguyod sa pamilya namin. Ganito lang po ako magsalita, yung parang nakikipag usap lang sa kaibigan. Ito kasi yung way ko para mawala yung kaba ko. Kasi sa totoo lang po, naiihi na po ako sa kaba ngayon pero pinipilit ko pong maging maayos ako para matanggap ako sa companyang ito, isang karangalan po sakin na makapag trabaho dito." -biglang mahinhin na sagot nya. May sayad ba to? But I agreed with her answers. Mukhang okay naman sya kahit may pagka bungangera. Sakto sa edad, at maraming confidence. Tingnan natin sa trabaho.

"You're hired. You can start tomorrow. Now get out of my sight." - sabi ko at sumandal sa swival chair ko at pumikit.

"Hala maam talaga ba? As in hired na ako?" -di makapaniwalang tanong nya. I glared at her.

"Mukha ba akong nagbibiro? Kung ayaw mo umalis ka na sumasakit ulo ko sayo."

"Ay si madame naman. Kino-confirm lang eh, Start na po ako tomorrow pramis. Thank you po ng sobra sobra." -abot langit yung ngiti nya, pero di ako natuwa kasi ang ingay nya.

"I said leave right? Tapos na yung interview. Pakisabi sa mga nasa labas umuwi na diko sila kelangan." -with that i closed my eyes. Akala ko magsasalita pa siya pero narinig ko nalang na nagsara yung pinto at nag announce sya sa labas.

"Okay umuwi na kayo! May nanalo na! And that is me! The one and only. Sabi ni maam pwede na kayong umuwi. Pasensya kasi ako yung winner. Salamat." - sa sobrang lakas ng boses nya kahit sa loob naririnig ko pinagsasabi nya tss.

I cleared my schedule for today kasi pupuntahan ko si kuya sa condo nya before lunch, may plinano kasi syang party para kela mommy na uuwi naman next week and he needed my help for the preparation. I'm not that busy today so i stood up and look around my office, i want a new look. I want my office to look fresh para bawas sa stress yung view. I listed the things I wanna change and the walls, the paintings and everything.

I was busy planning for the renovation of my office when fely came with a cup of coffee.

"Maam coffee nyo po." -she said politely as she put the coffee on my table. I just nodded without saying thank you then she went out.

I reached the coffee and to the fvcking moment natapon yung coffee sa mesa ko. I immediately removed all the important documents na nasa table ko at sa taranta ko'y na tabig ko yung tasa kaya nahulog at nabasag. I cursed a lot Damn it. I pressed the intercom to call someone who'll clean my mess.

"I need one person to clean my office now. May Nabasag ako."

I massage my temple as I sat down waiting for the janitress. May kumatok at pumasok na, maybe to clean around.

"Morning madame, lilinisin ko lang po yung bubog." - I heared a husky voice and smell a manly scent, so I turn around and to my shock. It was him. The janitor I saw year ago.
