☆Callie's POV☆

"The test says you have it, Callie," Bruce concludes. I stand next to Steve since the table is now mounted with Loki's scepter. I have apparently missed an early morning meeting on one of Loki's interrogations. Darn it, I had wanted to see that.

I'm dumbfounded. I thought the Force was a myth! It can't be possible...

"That's..." I can't find words. Amazing. Terrifying. Weird. Just plain out of this world.

"Well, it does mean that you can move and control objects or people with your mind; think of it as telekinesis," Bruce explains.

"Wait," Steve interjects, "Control people?"

"She can make someone do something against their will, good or bad, so it can be dangerous if she gets in Loki's hands," Bruce explains. Steve still looks reluctant.

"If she can channel her power into her hands or head, she can lift things," Bruce rambles on. "She can create a barrier around anything and protect it. In addition to that, her reflexes are enhanced, which can explain her little stunt in Stuttgart."

Word spreads pretty fast around here.

"And it just so happens the one person who is turning people against our cause is only a few hallways down," Steve jabs a thumb behind him.

"Hey, guys, I'm still here you know," I say pointedly. Steve places a hand on my shoulder comfortingly.

"Uhhh...did I inturrupt something?" Tony asks stupidly, walking in like he owns the place. I blow a piece of hair out of my face with a huff.

"No, really?" I sass. Tony ignores me and takes a look at the screen, making me cringe. He doesn't have to know about my new abilities. Tony ignores my data and goes to swiping at his phone screen, checking something.

"What's that?" Steve gestures to the glass phone that has an obvious chart, looking like it's counting down for something.

"Breaking into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secure files," Tony says casually. "In an hour or so we will know every dirty secret S.H.I.E.L.D. has to hide."

My mouth falls open.

"You broke into S.H.I.E.L.D.?!" I gasp. Steve seems pretty on edge as well.

"Why would Fury call us in, and why now?" Tony protests calmly. "We can't get the answer unless we have all the variables." Tony reaches into his pocket and opens a bag of blueberries. Bruce glances up hesitantly. I see Steve's face twist into confusion.

"Cap, tell me this doesn't smell a little funny?" Bruce pipes up. Steve has an internal struggle for a moment, then straightens up to go walk out the door.

"Just find the cube," he mumbles before stepping out of the door.

Tony lets out a sigh.

"That was the guy my dad never shut up about? Wonder if they should've kept him in ice," he remarks jokingly.

"Tony, if you would just be nice to him, you might actually see he's nice," I lean against one of the tables, looking at a computer screen. I see my test results sitting there, so I synch them into my profile.

"What's that?" Tony speaks through a mouthful of berries. I glance up.

"Nothing you need to know about yet," I tell him, slightly mysterious. Tony shrugs.

"Anything on the Tesseract?" Tony asks Bruce. He shakes his head, tapping the computer screen to file my results again.

"We have yet to locate it," He replies, going back to work.

"I'll help I suppose, nothing else to do on this hunk of metal," I decide, going up to a computer screen and beginning to tap and swipe it.

"I still don't get why your breaking into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secure files," I break a long silence. Tony comes up to my screen, taps a few things, then goes to check on the hack taking place on his phone.

"Fury's hiding something, and I'm going to find out what," Tony explains flatly. I can feel Fury is hiding something too, I just don't think breaking into the files would be the best way to approach it.

"I agree," I begin cautiously, fiddling with the controls on my screen. "But there has to be a better way to find out," I voice my thoughts, brushing my hair out of the way and glancing out the window. Tony says nothing.

For the next hour or so, we keep searching for any trace of the cube. The sun is coming through the hanger, making the white walls shimmer. Soldiers walk back and forth past the lab, glancing in every time. I know everyone is on edge to find the Tesseract, and the burden is on Tony and Bruce. At least I feel useful as I walk back and forth, checking all the screens and making adjustments.

Suddenly, Fury storms into the room. Ha, storms.

"What are you doing, Stark?" He bombards. I wince. He found out about Tony's hacking.

"Uh, kind of been wondering the same thing about you," Tony's phone beeps, indicating the hacking process is complete. He transferrs the files to one of the screens, beginning to scroll through everything.

"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract," Fury looks so mad. I'm about to say something, but decide to back out. This isn't my fight. I just stand here awkwardly.

"We are," Bruce jumps in. Tony gives a nod. Something catches both of their attention on the screen, including mine. Tony snaps his fingers.

"What is Phase 2?" He asks, reading off the screen.
Bang.
