A few weeks go by and the cold air starts to come down. The leaves are falling off the trees and the air is crisp.
Grace and I just got back from Hogsmead with Harry and Ron. We walk across the school grounds as the leaves crunch under our shoes.
"Stella?" I look up and see Cedric Diggory waving me over. I turn my head to look behind me before I realize he's talking to me. Grace shoves me over in his direction.
"Oh hey Cedric" I smile
"Hey so I was talking to Lewis earlier and he was telling me that you're excellent at Charms, and I have been struggling with my Charms homework so I was wondering if you were free to help me catch up?" He asks
I stand there in a bit of shock trying to process everything, " I'm not to sure of the 6th year curriculum but I'm sure if you give me your text book to look over I can pick it up easily to help you" I suggest.
"Oh yeah sure" he nods, turning his bag over to pull out his charms text book. He places it in my hands and gives me a thankful smile. "Maybe we can go to the library, tomorrow?" He asks
"Yeah I'll see you then" I smile, walking away over to Grace.
"What just happened" she squeals.
"He asked me to help him with his charms"
I giggle
"Wait but you're not even in his year" she furrows her brows.
"I took his text book to go over so I can pick up on it, can't be too hard" I shrug
"You genius" she laughs as we walk up to the common room.
The next evening goes by and I wait in the library for Cedric. I see him walk in with a big smile on his face. I take in his gorgeous features and his brown hair sticking up messily.
"Hey" he says slipping in the seat beside me.
"Hey so I went over the book and I was able to pick up on what you're learning" I say explaining to him.
We spend a few hours in the library going over the books and his homework.
"I appreciate it so much Stella I really can't express how thankful I am, I was scared I was gonna fail the class" he says, "Let me take you out or something. We can even just got to Hogsmeads for a few beers later this week"
My heart skips in my chest. "Yeah that would be nice"
We finish up and I say my goodbyes and walk to the common room. I realize how late it is and that it's last curfew. I'm lucky enough to sneak up with out getting caught. I open the door and see Draco sitting on the couch staring at the fire.
I try to avoid him and slip in quietly but he spots me.
"What're you doing getting in so late?" He asks
"I was at the library" I say
He stands up and walks towards me.
He looks at my hands and sees I don't have any of my books.
"The library? You don't have any of your text books" he says tilting his head.
"I was helping Cedric with his homework" I say annoyed.
"Diggory? Is he that daft he needs a fourth years help?" He chuckles
