CHLOE FELT THE NEED to halt mid-sentence the instant her eyes locked with Daryl's. "Yeah, we were hoping we could stay here, they're probably-"

"Daryl?" she spoke, emotions overwhelming her as she hurried towards him.

He wasted no time enveloping her in his embrace as soon as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Hey," he whispered, holding her close while she clung to him, not wanting to let go. "You okay?"

"Hmm," Chloe murmured, tears on the verge of spilling.

Pulling away from him at last, she noticed Morgan, whom she hadn't registered before. "Morgan," she whispered.

"Hey," he said, giving her a small hug. "I'm so sorry for all that happened."

Richard cleared his throat, "King Ezekiel is waiting for you."

"King?" she asked.

"Yeah, he's got a pet tiger," Daryl said, attempting to warn her.

"Oh, okay."

"And who is he?" Morgan asked, referring to Logan.

"Logan," Logan said.

"He helped me out," Chloe told him.

A theatre room was transformed into a throne room; on the throne sat a king with a tiger beside him that she didn't dare to take her eyes off as she spoke.

"Hi," Chloe said, walking after Daryl and Morgan, who led her closer.

"Don't be terrified of Shiva," the king said, noticing the terror on her face. "You must be the lady that Rick told us about?"

"Yes, that's me," Chloe said.

"Well, he left out the part 'beautiful'," King Ezekiel smiled.

A chuckle escaped her mouth. "Thank you."

"What's your name?"

"Chloe," she said loudly. "Chloena Simpson."

"Are you okay, Chloena of Alexandria?"

"I'm okay."

"I've heard about what happened, sorry for your loss."

"Thank you."

"We've given our friend Daryl asylum, so I'm offering it to you too as long as you require it," Ezekiel said.

"That would be great," Chloe said. "I thank you again, King Ezekiel."
