Every inch of his body hurt, with every shaky breath he took his chest rattled, aching uncomfortabely. How long had it been? A few hours? After the beating he had been left to wallow in his own agony, drifting in and out of consciousness.

The sevre dryness of his throat continued to antagonize him and he could barely move a muscle without letting a small whimper. He didn't understand what was happening, who had taken him? Why had they taken him? And most importantly, how did they know he was Spiderman?

Peter had always complimented himself in the fact that he was good at keeping his identity a secret, maybe Ned wasn't supposed to know but all in all it worked out for the best. How could anyone figure that out?

He shifted slightly in his chair, his wrists rubbing against the irritating rope that held them in place. He tried not to show it but he was terrified, Tony would be worried sick, Ned would be panicking and everyone else would have no idea what was happening.

At that moment, the door to the room opened, revealing the same man as yesterday. He closed the door before casually strolling towards the boy, carelessly scrolling through his phone, the same way Peter had seen Tony do a thousand times.

"Enjoy your little...introduction, shall we say?" he mused. Peter stayed quiet and watched the man carefully as he smiled cruelly.

"No snarky respone? Well, good to see you're learning, we all know what will happen if you let your mouth run like that again now don't we?" He jabbed him roughly in the side with his finger, right on the large bruise that had formed since earlier. He stifled a cry but accidentally let a small moan of pain slip through his lips, allowing the man a small moment of victory.

"Now, I suppose we should get started on what's important really, why are you here?" He paused to take a look at the boy before continuing.

"Well I may as well tell you, since you will most likey be dead before you ever see anyone else. You see a friend of mine, my boss actually, use to work for Stark, they were close. Until your shitty father decided to turn his back on him, accused him of stealing products and sharing confidential information. He striped him of his family, of everyting he loved and cared about."

He paused to take another look at Peter, who was regarding him with an intrigued yet slightly uncomfortable expression. "So he decided to take revenge, he met me, we made connections, started to learn about the ins and outs of Stark Industries and the creator himself, Tony Stark. He wanted the man to feel the same pain he did, losing everything he ever worked for and loved, one being you."

"Me?" Peter asked, more to himself.

The man kicked him harshly in the leg before leaning forward menacingly. "Don't act suprised, I've seen the way he favoured you, oh yes, everyone else meant nothing to him except you, And then he adopted you, after your precious Aunt was somehow killed."

Peter felt his blood boil at the mentions of his Aunt, how dare he speak her name.

"And everything fell into place," the man continued, seemingly unbothered by the boys rage, "with you gone Stark would loose his mind, he would feel the pain his former friend felt and realise the huge mistake he made. And he will pay."

Peter gulped, the story was more than he expected, his heart began to beat faster and he felt himself begin to panic. What if he never made it out alive? Surely they would kill him wouldn't they?

A small cup of water was shoved towards him, appearing out of nowhere it seemed.

"Drink. As much as I want you dead I want to have fun with this, I want to break Stark and watch him crumble and I can't do that without his trusty intern."

"W-why do you want revenge?" he managed to say, his dry throat making his words hoarse.

"Why do I want revenge? I strive for succsess, I get money for dirtying my hands with someone elses problem and I love it. Especially people who rivial me, including Stark. Now. Drink."

"What if I don't want to d-drink it?" The roughness clear in his voice at how much he needed the drink.

"Then I will kill your father in front of your very eyes and everyone else you care about." he said in a dark voice, eyes laced with malice.

The man shoved the cup against the boys lips and he hesitantly took a sip before finishing the whole cup, his throat already feeling alot better.

"That wasn't so hard was it?" He stood, tiliting Peter's head up to look into his eyes. "Sleep." He demanded, before leaving Peter alone in the room, his head spinning with thoughts.

Everything began to click. Suddenly, everything made sense, everything Tony had surpassed as unimportant, could explain Peter's disappearance.

After he had hacked into the boys school records he had searched for everything linked to his newest teacher, more specifially, the teacher who was on the trip. Mr Wilson had joined the school at the same time Davidson had been reported as a suspect, he also seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, it seemed the minute his idnetity had been comprimised he had changed his whole appearance.

Tony realised how stupid he had been.

This whole time he had been looking for the man who was attempting to kill his son when of course he would be the closest to Peter he could get, and now that same man was missing.

When Friday had hacked the records, they reported Mr Wilson missing after everyone arrived back from the trip, which happened to be less than 3 hours after Peter was first reported missing.

It hadn't seemed important at the time but now, after almost 16 hours of no sleep, Tony had a lead, there was a glimer of hope which meant he was closer to finding his boy.

***a few hours later***

Nat walked into the kitchen to grab a drink, she had been struggling with sleep just like everyone else, it felt odd to relax when there was a chance Peter was hurt or lost. The boy had grown on them all, his cheesy jokes and cheerful smile was what made their days, now he was gone it was like the light from their world was gone too.

She spotted Tony sat down on the sofa, elbows balanced on his knees with his head looking up at the screen that had countless records of data displayed on it. That was how it had been since yesterday, wherever the man was he was staring at some type of data, Nat could see how truly the broken the man was.

"Hey." she said, Tony jumped at the voice and spun around. "Oh, hey Nat." he said when he realised who it was.

"You okay?" She walked over and sat down next to him. "Of course I'm not okay." he whispered, his voice cracking.

"I know this is hard, but we're here to help you understand that? You lost a son and we lost a nephew, but pretending to be okay won't help. I'm here for you." Tony turned towards her with tears in his eyes, clearly wanting something but to afraid to ask.

She smiled sadly and pulled his towards her, envoloping him a warm hug as he cried. "Shh, shh you can cry." Nat ran a hand through his hair as he buried his head in her neck.

She didn't know how long it was they stayed like that, but it didn't matter. Tony needed a friend right now, and she was going to be with him every step of the way.

A/N: I really wanted to add cute fluff for Nat and Tony, NO not a ship I just think their friendship is cute!
