"Liam, please wake up," a small whisper filled the silence.
Harmony.
"Liam," she said again.
I sat up.
Her eyes were stained with tears. Up until now, I hadn't noticed how beautiful they were.
"Harmony, I'm awake."
"Liam?"
I looked at her, "Harmony, I'm right here."
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"I'm with you. So yes I am."
She hugged me, "You saved me."
"I couldn't let you die..."
"How can I ever thank you?"
"Let me think about that."
"Okay," she said smiling.
"Where is my dad?"
"I don't know. I think the police took him somewhere but I don't know if he's in jail or not since the trial hasn't happened yet."
"Oh okay- Harmony?"
"What?"
"I just wanted to say, I.. uh... love-" I stuttered.
Harmony hugged me again.
Someone knocked on the door.
Harmony went and opened it. In front of the swinging door were two people I recognized.
Jerry's mom walked over, "I'm so sorry about what happened, Liam."
"Um thanks."
"You know if Jerry was still alive, he would be here with you."
I missed Jerry more than ever, "He was the best friend I've ever known."
Mr. Henrick nodded solemnly, "He was as good of a son as a friend."
