Spencer's POV:

"Abby are you almost ready to go?" I yelled from the kitchen. I was almost done packing a picnic basket for the night ahead. I still hadn't gotten it through my head that I was going to be, hopefully, marrying my best friend.

"Yes, yes chill." Abby walked down the stairs, clasping her earring. She was dressed in a pair of army green jeans paired with a plain black top and her hair curled. Absolutely stunning.

"You look cute." I pulled her into a hug as I stood with my back to the counter.

"Why thank you fool." She looked up at me before stealing a kiss. As she walked into the mud room to grab her shoes, I took the picnic basket out to the car. Nothing fancy, just a big salad from Trader Joe's, her favorite, and a bottle of wine.

"You ready?" I asked as Abby got into the car.

"Yeah, where are we going?" She has been so eager to find out where I'm taking her all day, but I have refused to tell her.

"Not yet. Turn around." I reached and pulled a blindfold from my pocket, before tying it around her eyes.

"Spencer, you don't have to do this." Abby sat back in her seat.

"Just enjoy the ride." I laughed, placing my hand behind her head rest as I backed out. The field that I took her to was about 20 minutes from our house, so I turned on the radio to kill the silence. I always hated a quiet car, and knew that if we kept talking, I'd ruin the surprise.

"Are we here yet?" Abby grew impatient as we finally arrived.

"Yes we are actually. Here, sit there and I'll come get you." I turned the car off before walking over to get Abby out of the car.

"Can I take off this stupid blindfold yet?" she asked as I picked her up out of the car.

"Here." I pulled off the blindfold, revealing the hills that stood before us.

"You brought me out here?" Abby looked at me, genuinely shocked.

"Well, I thought it would be a nice date out here." I pointed over to the sun that was slowly setting. I grabbed her hand, and the picnic basket in the other, walking over to the middle of the field, spreading out the blanket.

"It's beyond beautiful out here." Abby acknowledged, looking over at the sunset.

"Not as beautiful as you." I remarked, making her blush.

"You know, for both of us being 30 and dating, we act like we're 12 sometimes." Abby laughed, resting her head in my lap.

"Honestly we really do."

"I think the only thing keeping this relationship alive is the fact that we bond over serial killers." Abby started.

"True, I guess everything else is just perks." We both burst out laughing at our stupid jokes. Perks was one of our biggest inside jokes from when we were working together on a movie set with Abby's mom before she passes. Everything we got on set, we considered perks.

The sun finally set, and the stars shined bright, lighting up the night sky. As we laid on the blanket next to each other, we gazed up at the stars.

"And that one there is the pieces, your star sign." I explained, pointing it out to Abby.

"Mhm." she acknowledged. At this point, her gaze wasn't even fixed on the stars, but on me.

"Sorry am I boring you?" I turned my face, awkwardly meeting her's.

"Hey." I smiled shyly, literally inches from her face.

"Hey." Abby blushed at the sight of my smile. "You know I've never been stargazing?"

"Really?" I was a bit taken back. Abby went on to explain how and why, as she rested her leg atop mine.

"That's crazy." I ended, looking back up at the stars. All of a sudden, Abby pushed my leg aside, pulling her body on top of mine.

"Oh yeah, I'm definitely a top." Abby laughed as her necklace that I had bought her dangled in my face. I pushed her back on the ground, pulling the same stunt that she did.

"Oh no, I'm definitely a top." I mocked her comment.

"I guess we'll have to find out." Abby laughed, making me laugh even harder.

"Come here!" I jumped up from the blanket, reaching for her hand.

"Why?" She looked completely puzzled, but still gave me her hand. I pulled her up from the ground, spinning her around before gathering her into my arms. My hands rested on the smalls of her back while my head was on top of her's. She began to hum a song, nuzzling her head in the crook of my neck. We stood there, in the middle of the field, not another in sight, just dancing.

"I love you." Abby looked up, her eyes meeting mine.

"I love you more." I replied, leaning down to kiss her.

We continued to dance the night away, as the bottle of wine remained unopened and unnoticed.

"Remember how we talked about the first time we made out in this field completely drunk?" Abby started.

"And how we said we would do it again?" I continued.

"Wanna do that?" she smirked.

"Get over here!" I reached for her hand, pulling Abby on top of me again. Under the stars. In love. Our lips met. I couldn't of asked for anything more.

"You're a really good kisser." I smiled as our foreheads met.

"I hate you." Abby answered before kissing me again. Even though she was a bit harsh, I knew how much she truly loved me, especially after everything we had been through in the past years, one thing had remained the same.

"Forever." Abby extended her pinky.

"And always." I picked her up, dipping her back before kissing her kips. After doing so, I placed her back down on the ground, in front of me. I stared into her eyes as I grabbed her hand, kneeling down on my left knee.

Abby's POV:

"SPENCER REID!" I yelled. Was he really doing this? ME? What? Wake me up!

"Abigal Charlotte Tag," Spencer began. "Would you uh- marry me?"

"I kind of hate most things but, I never really seem to hate you. I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, is that cool." My eyes met his.

"Well duh-" Before I knew it, he placed the ring over my finger, standing up. We stood there in the field, I don't even know for how long. His hands on each side of my face, pulling me into the longest kiss ever. I don't know how he doesn't get sick of me sometimes.

"SHE SAID YES!" Spencer screamed, even though nobody would hear him, scooping me off the ground.

"You realize that if we get married, you're never getting rid of me?" I questioned, just to make sure.

"I wouldn't want it any other way." He smiled, kissing my forehead.

"Well I guess it happened. Now it's us forever." I lifted my pinky.

"And always, until the end."

"Man, we're practically married already." I smiled. The best night of my life, with my favorite person. I wouldn't of wanted it any other way. Now until forever.
