Spencer's POV:
"Can we talk?" I couldn't believe those words just slipped out of my mouth. I stood there before Abby, who sat on the patio. The sun hit her face just right, leaving her looking nearly golden.
"Have a seat." she pulled the chair next to her. I sat down next to her, my hands trembling.
"Listen" We both said at the same time, turning to meet each other's eyes.
"You go first," she got in before I could.
"Boat ride?" I asked, hopeful she'd say yes.
I stood up from the chair, as Abby followed me. The boat sat on the other side of the patio, but was all prepared to go.
"What in the world makes you think I'm about to get on a boat with you." Abby stood still, looking at me like I'm crazy.
"You love me and you know it." She remained quiet, as I reached for her hand. Abby grabbed my hand as I helped her on to the boat.
I sat down in the driver's seat, starting the boat before pulling away. She sat there, admiring the surroundings on the lake as I pulled out of the no wake zone, speeding up as I did.
"So." Abby cut the silence.
"So." I mimicked, stopping the boat before fixing my gaze on Abby.
"Listen, I'm sorry." she started. "I know I completely overreacted and that was my fault." I could see the tears forming in her eyes.
"No Abby, it's not your fault. I was the one that went behind your back. I was so stupid to even do that. I lied to you. You shouldn't be sorry, I'm the one that should be sorry." I rambled on, as tears flowed down my eyes, I let her down. I lied to her.
"Spence.-" I cut her off, our lips meeting. My hands made their way up to cup her face, before I could even realize what was happening.

Abby's POV:
No way this is happening. One second I was talking and the next I was kissing Spencer. His lips felt so soft against mine, I could tell it was a kiss that he desired. I don't know how someone can portray that in a single kiss, but if anyone could, it would be Spencer.
"I'm sorry." Spencer stuttered as he pulled away.
"No, no it's okay." I pulled him back in, going for another kiss.
"So you're not mad at me anymore?" He leaned his head to one side, our eyes meeting.
"I guess you made up for it." I smiled, walking over to sit on his lap as he drove the boat around. He drove around in circles as we talked on and on about life without each other and how horrible it was.
"You are so annoying." I looked down at Spencer, smiling.
"You are more annoying." He smiled back, picking me up, acting as if he was going to throw me overboard.
"Here." I reached for his hand as I walked over to the edge of the boat. I slipped off my heels, sticking my feet into the water. Spencer sat down beside me, letting me lay my head on his shoulder.
"I missed you." I intertwined my hand with his as we sat looking at the lake.
"I missed you too. Sleeping alone is horrible." Spencer replied, rubbing my thumb with his.
"I agree." I looked at him. We sat there for a bit, until I convinced him that if we didn't go back now, we'd miss dinner. He finally drove back to the house boat, helping me onto the dock.
