Spencer's POV:
It was the next day, after I had gotten proposed to Abby. We laid in bed for what seemed like hours before falling asleep that night. Endless conversations filled the silence of the night. One topic to the next. Between serial killers and what our wedding was going to be like, we ended up talking for nearly 5 hours.
"Abb wake up." I shook her shoulder a bit as she turned away from me. The sun shined through the curtains as I could hear the birds begin to sing.
"Screw off." Abby shoved her face into the pillow.
"You know you love me." I walked over to her side of the bed, pushing her towards the middle of the bed.
"What do you want?" Abby asked as I rolled her over to slip my arm under her. My hand rested on top her stomach.
"Stop that tickles." she began to giggle.
"What? This?" I began to tickle her even more, one of her biggest pet peeves. At this point we were practically wrestling on top of the bed.
"You suck." Abby smirked, pulling me on top of her.
"Hey." I looked down into her green eyes. She rolled her eyes at me before pulling her head up to kiss me.
"You're lucky you got a kiss. Now let me go back to bed." Abby pleaded.
"No way." I scooped her out of bed.
"Put me down!" Abby yelled as she kicked her legs in the air. I continued out of the bedroom, downstairs to the kitchen.
"There." I sat her down on top of the counter, walking over to the coffee pot to brew the two of us a cup.
"So what are our plans today?" Abby asked, jumping down from the counter to open the fridge.
"Well, we are engaged now, so we should probably tell the team and your sister, and my mom." I answered, grabbing our mugs from the cabinet.
"Why don't we get ready, video call with you mom, meet my sister for lunch at Gino's, and then invite the team over for dinner." Abby suggested, pulling the eggs out from the fridge.
"And fit in there time for us?"
"We'll see." Abby turned and winked at me, setting me off in uncontrollable laughter. After Abby finished making us breakfast, we both sat down at the counter talking about how everyone on the team would react to our engagement.
"You know, I think Hotch might even smile." Abby laughed, taking another bite of her eggs.
"And you know Garcia, she'll be ecstatic." I continued.
I took Abby's plate from her, rinsing it off along with mine in the sink. As she headed up to shower and get ready, I tidied up downstairs, preparing for guests tonight. Honestly, I had no clue what we are possibly going to make for dinner tonight, considering that it was a last moment kind of thing. I pulled out my phone to text the team.
Spencer: Dinner our house tonight? 6:30? Sorry it's last minute but we can't wait to make an announcement before Monday.
Emily: I'll be there. What do you need me to bring?
Morgan: I swear if y'all are pregnant-
Abby: Not quite. Just bring a bottle of wine if y'all want it. The girl's and I finished off my last bottle.
Rossi: I'll bring the wine.
Garcia: Oh yes a party! I can't wait!
JJ: I'll be there!
