Bonding Time

JAY'S POV

I am tapping my shoes on the floor while waiting for Mycah. Yesterday, after lunch I asked her if she could go out with me. I mean, we're friends. And since we've never seen each other for a long time I want to have a bonding with her. I know she doesn't have anything to do today. And we are already going back to Korea tomorrow.

"Sorry, I'm late" napatingin ako sa nagsalita. It's Mycah, kakalabas lang nya ng unit nya kung saan ako naghihintay.

"No, it's ok. Let's go?" Nag aalangan na tumango nman sya at bahagyang ngumiti. Cute.

"So, how's life?" pagbubukas ko ng usapan, we are currently in a elevator for VIP. I mean Dad, he let us use this elevator since I need to hide from the media or paparazzi.

" It gets better and better." sagot nya.

"Plan to go back in US?" tanong ko.

"I don't know. I love to be in the Philippines. So maybe I will try" sagot nya sakin. Nagbukas na ng elevator at lumabas na kami. Agad naman kaming sinalubong ng driver ni dad and we ride on a van.

" You know what, we're planning to held a concert in the Philippines. If that happens you should watch" pagkukwento ko. Marami na din kasing BIGHIT LABELS' artist ang nagkaroon ng concert sa Pilipinas. Naiingit kami. haha.

" Really? When?" excited na tanong nya.

" We're still planning. And we're currently focusing for our 4th-year anniversary. They just gave us a week for a vacation" sagot ko.

" How long have you been here? and how long will you stay?" tanong nya.

"Ahmm. We stayed in other hotel for a night before we met dad in his hotel. And tomorrow is my flight back to Korea. Mom, will still stay here for the meantime." Sagot ko. mukha naman syang nalungkot. ako din naman eh. As much as possible gusto ko pa syang makasama..makabonding pero wala eh. Busy.

"Ok. Goodluck on your career." nasabi na lang nya.

Pagkababa namin ay nasa tapat na kami ng isang mall, I already wore my cap and facemask to cover may face for people to not to recognize me.

"Mycah! !" napalingon kaming pareho sa lalaki na tumawag sa kasama ko.

"OMG, Adam! I'm glad you came." nagmamadali syang nilapitan ang lalaki at iniwan ako. Napakamot na lang ako sa ulo ko sumunod na lang.

" As soon as I recieved your text I immediately go here. So yeah. I'm here." sagot nung guy at napatingin sakin na kasalukuyang nakatayo sa may likuran ni Mycah.

"Ohmy! Sorry. Anyway, Jay, this is my friend Adam and Adam, this is Jay." pagpapakilala nya samin sa isat isa.

" It's nice to meet you, man" he said it first and offered his hand. I dont want to be rude so I accepted it and we do shake hands.

" He's the one I'm telling you Adam so you finally met each other. Let's go? I'm itching to go shopping" he held both of our hands of this Adam guy and we all headed inside the mall.

TIRED, that's what I'm feeling right now. We're walking and walking and walking and endless walking.

I thought we can enjoy this day just the two of us, but then We're with Adam so I just decided to keep my mouth shut and I never complained.

I'm her friend who's never with him for long years but here she is, looking so happy with his new guy friend.

"Mycah, I'm heading back to the hotel first" I told her when I got that chance.

"This early? I thought..."

"I remembered I had to do some errands. So yeah. But your with that guy. Tell him to accompany you" sabi ko pa.

" I thought we're going to bond?" That's what I thought to.

"Maybe some other time. I'll go now. Enjoy your day" I said as I walk out of the mall.
