Bakugou POV
After a long day of many stares, and many smiles from Deku, the bell finally signals the end of the day. I walk with Deku to his house, and I remember so many memories of us as kids playing at each other's houses, these memories bring a small smile to my face.
"What are you smiling about?" Deku pipes up, looking at me with a big smile
"Us, when we were kids." I say smiling
Deku makes a little squeal of surprise and happiness, and grabs onto my arm. I wince a bit, some of the cuts are still healing. Deku sees that, and wraps his arms around my waist instead, hugging me as we walk. We talk about the new All Might figurine that went in store, and all sorts of other stuff that brought a smile to my face. Eventually, we make it to Deku's street and we walk to Deku's house. We walk into Deku's house, and we see the old hag and Auntie Inko sitting on the couch, talking quietly.
"Katsuki!" The hag exclaims as I walk in, Deku clung around my waist, she runs up and gives me a hug.
"Katsuki...My baby....Kat-su-k-" She says, choking in between sobs.
"Is it alright if we head up to Deku's room?" I say, releasing the hug between me and the hag
"Of course, have fun you two." Auntie Inko says, while the hag wipes her tears off her face with the back of her hand.
We nod, and we head upstairs to Deku's room, for a couple minutes we just sit there, in a comfortable silence.
"Izuku..." I say, I watch him as his eyes wide, I continue "Would you like me to call you that?"
Deku's face changes from shock, to sadness, to happiness, to giggling.
"Kacchan! No way! I know what you meant when you called me Deku, but I don't think I'll ever get used to you calling me by my name! I'd prefer it if you'd call me Deku! Unless you want to call me Izuku, it's up to you!" Deku says happily
"Deku...can I still call you that...? Will it hurt you...?" I ask
"Of course not! For a smart guy, you can be incredibly stupid!" Deku says wrapping his arms around me, I laugh as we both lay on the floor, hugging each other tightly. We watch an All Might movie, and I can see his eyes twinkle every time All Might does something cool. At this moment, I decide that tomorrow was the day. I've had enough of putting it off. I'm going to confess tomorrow.
