It's been six days since the campfire, and all I have done is sit at home.
"Katy, stop feeling sorry for yourself and go out somewhere," my uncle spoke harshly as he entered my room. "You haven't left the house, you can't continue with your life if you're just sitting here," he finished as I groaned and got out of bed. I turned my phone on and was instantly greeted by several text messages and phone calls.
29 unread messages.
17 missed calls.
I clicked on my texts, and found that most of them were from Luke, one from my friend Sidney and another from an unknown number.
I clicked on the text from the unknown number before reading it,
Hi Katy, it's Calum. Please talk to Luke, he's worried about you.. We all are.
I clicked off it before reading the text from Sidney,
Hey babe, hope things are good with you! Jess and I are coming back to visit soon so make sure your schedule is free! :D x
I rolled my eyes before deleting both text messages then reading Luke's.
They were a mess, most of them were him apologising for taking me to the campfire and about Ashton. Until I came across the last text,
Hey, I really need to talk to you. It's kind of important, so if you could meet me at Leah's at 2 then that would be great. :-) xx
I scanned it again before checking when it was sent.
Today, at 11:02 am.
I checked the current time, it was now 1:05 pm.
I quickly got ready and left the house, making my way to the coffee shop.

As I entered, Leah looked up at me from her book. The coffee shop seemed very quiet today, not as busy as usual.
"Hey! Haven't seen you in a few days, I got worried about you." She said, smiling widely as I approached her.
"Just got some stuff going on," I spoke quietly, and evidently my facade had let me down as she looked at me skeptically.
"Babe, you're not yourself. Where is the chirpy Katy that comes in happy and bouncy?" She asked, smiling sadly.
"Sorry, I'll be back to my old self soon" I smiled before asking for my usual - excluding the brownie.
I looked over to my usual seat and found Luke sitting opposite, with his head hung low as he typed away quickly at his phone. I made my way over to him before sitting down.
"Everything okay?" I rushed as I took my jacket off. He looked up at me suddenly, a small grin forming on his face.
"Yeah, why do you ask?" He smirked, I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked at him.
"You said you wanted to speak to me about something important?" I said, although it was more of a question.
He laughed before speaking, "nope, I just wanted to see you." He smiled and I couldn't help but blush.
I sighed with relief as Leah placed my drink down onto the table. At least there isn't anything wrong.
"So..." Leah begun, "are you two together yet?" she asked, grinning widely as she looked between us both.
Luke and I looked at each other before shaking our heads slowly.
"Far too soon for that," I smiled as she rolled her eyes before leaving us. I looked over to Luke, who was now looking down at his clasped hands. "Hey uh, you wanna go to the cinema tomorrow? To see Taken 3? It looks so good," I smiled.
"Sounds cool, I'll pick you up at 5," he smiled and I nodded.
***
I got home and instantly went up to my room. I pulled out my brand new notebook out and slowly began to write my thoughts,
you ...
But that was it.
That was all I could write.
I couldn't express my feelings, not even in the way in which I love.
I didn't know how I was feeling, and I didn't know what was going on inside my head.
I couldn't tell if I was happy because of Luke, or sad because of Ashton.
