Like the start to any relationship, Luke and I were happier than ever. We were almost inseparable, apart from the nights - although he did like to sneak into my house while my aunt and uncle were sleeping sometimes.
It's been three weeks. The band have become a lot more popular around here and they even did a very small tour around Sydney, only five or six gigs but after each one they seemed to have gained more fans. I went to each concert as I wanted to show my support. Sidney and Ashton seem to have grown close lately, too, although Sidney feels awkward about the fact that Ashton is my ex, I told her not to worry though as we're cool.
"Hey, babe, do you want the last slice of pizza?" Luke asked, I shook my head as I was full. We decided to spend the day at Luke's house as his family were either in work or running errands for the day. They are all extremely nice, especially Liz - Luke's mum - as I seem to get along with her very well.
"Is this one nearly finished?" I ask, looking down at Luke who currently had his head laying on my lap.
"Think so, why?" He looked up at me.
"Wanna go to the beach a bit earlier," I grinned, and Luke nodded eagerly. You see, Luke and I have a thing, we meet at Leah's coffee shop after I finish work in the late morning and then later on in the night we go for a walk down the beach.
"Cool, it's actually finished now," he said, and I looked up and to my surprise it was.

"When's your next gig?" I ask as we walked along the beach. Luke was kicking the sand and picking it up and throwing it at me like a big kid, I couldn't help but laugh at his childishness before throwing some back - but unfortunately, managing to hit him with it in his eye.
"Fuck," he called out in pain. "You little shit," he gasped. I laughed loudly before going over to see if he was ok.
"I'm sorry, babe, it's your fault!" I grinned as he looked up at me with a smirk. I looked at him with confusion as he slowly closed the gap between us.
Before I knew it, he had picked me up and was now walking towards the sea, with me being carried over his shoulder.
"Luke! I swear to God, if you drop me in the water I'll—"
I was interrupted by my body coming in contact with the water below me, and I was instantly pulled under as a small wave came over me. I spluttered as I stood up, glaring at Luke, who was waist-high in water, whereas it was up to just beneath my shoulders.
"You'll what?" He asked with the biggest smirk on his face. I moved closer to him, before pulling him by his shirt, deeper into the water until it was 3/4 the way up his body. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he held my body to his, to keep me above the water. He looked down at me, before slowly leaning in to kiss me. My lips brushed against his before pulling away. I smirked playfully and he shook his head.
"No, no, we'll have none of that," he said before kissing me, hard. Our lips moved in sync.
I don't know how long we were there for, but by the time we had finished kissing, it had started to get dark. We spent the rest of the night sitting on the wall, as the weather was the hottest yet. We talked for hours about everything and nothing, just feeling content in each other's presence.
maybe it was worth it after all.
