Ben and Rey a True Dyad part one THE SOLO FAMILY SAGA

Rey looked up imploringly at  Chewbacca.  He'd been enjoying the spectacle as well.  Large tears spilled down Rey's stricken face and melted the big Wookie's heart.   Nodding to her, he approached the three men wrestling on the floor.  It should have been easy for him to extricate Ben from his adversaries, but there were to many fists flailing in his face.  He dodged Finn's upper cut and Ben's boot. Chewy began to howl loudly and reached in and grabbed Ben  by his  wet  shirt collar and pulls him free.  Chewy wasn't a weakling. He had earned a medal for bravery and knew how to handle Ben.  He even wrestled with Ben when he was a boy.  He thought to himself  that he deserves a big Wookie treat after this.
                           Ben landed with a hard splat on the floor.  He was about to get hiding from his Uncle  Chewy.  He barked and growled at Ben as he lay on the floor bleeding and panting heavily. He hadn't put up much  of a fight.  He knew these men had every right to pummel him to a pulp. They needed to satisfy their blood lust, his blood. 
                          Rey is stunned and shaken. She moved over to where he lay.  Her knees are weak and she collapses to the floor next to Ben.  "I'm so sorry."  She sobbed .  Picking up his head she cradles it in her lap. She gingerly begins wiping away the blood as a large purple bruise blooms on his eye.   Poe and Finn stand up, breathing hard, rubbing their chins and knuckles. 
                        Facing the couple huddled on the floor, he tries to gain his composure. He was hardly able to control his anger and disbelief that Rey would bring him into his ship!   What is she doing  cuddling with him?  "Rey, you've got a lot of explaining to do!"  His tone frightened the already emotionally fragile young woman.  Ben doesn't appreciate the way Poe is addressing his empress.  He is going to protect her, even as he lay in pain, bloodied and defenseless on her lap.   "It's me you'll get answers from, leave her alone!"  He speaks with all the strength he has left. 
                           They're not sure they want to hear what Kylo Ren has to say. Should they give him the benefit of the doubt? Is is trustworthy? Truthful ? They don't know he is Kylo no longer.  "O.K., then," Finn says dripping with sarcasm . "Out with it , we're listening."
