"You have bewitched me body and soul, and I love , I love,I love you.
I never wish to be parted from you from this day on..... D'Arcy to Elizabeth
Pride and Prejudice, Jane AustinThe sight that met her eyes was not what she expected. She was surrounded by beauty. Plants and flowers of every variety grew in abundance. There was even sunshine and plump white clouds in a vivid blue sky. In the middle of this expansive world was a large wide bridge spanning a deep river. There were many people and galactic creatures making their way across the bridge. They were then met by a host, who directed them through one of three doors.
Why would Ben want to leave such a beautiful place? It felt so welcoming and excepting , like a loving embrace. There were people everywhere. Some were carrying on conversations, others waiting to be called to cross the crowded bridge. Everyone was pressing each other, eager to get across. They were going to their eternal reward.
Rey was so distracted by her surroundings she momentarily forgot to listen for Ben's voice. He had stoped talking . Did he runs out of things to say? Was he breaking some rule of the Force? She wasn't supposed to be there, so for punishment they took Ben away and hid him? "Ben, I can't hear you!" She was almost in a panic. "I'm right over here." Rey spun around and frantically searched the crowded bridge. It was a significantly long bridge and there were so many people and galactic creatures on it that she struggled to see just one very special person.
And there he was , standing in the middle of it!! Time stood still and for a brief moment they stared at each other. Everything around them faded away and it was just the two of them. Ben was the first to brake out of the trance. He pushed and dodged people that were impeding his progress, nearly tossing them into the river below! Rey sprang forward running as fast as she could, nearly panicking it was taking too long! And then he had her in his arms! He picked her up and spun her around, her legs tightly gripping his hips. She was solid and real! How many nights did he lay on his bunk and dream of this moment? How many tears did she cry , yearning for this man? They finally drew a few inches apart and looked into each other's eyes. Their kiss could have melted rocks! They laughed and cried and the world around them stopped while they kept spinning!
