Grace Malfoy, The odd one out.

Part 15 - Birthday

I woke up, once again at 4AM. Quietly tip toeing to the bathroom, getting ready and getting changed into my slytherin robes, whilst stuffing pillows in my bed, it looks like I'm sleeping, because like...what's the bet someone tries to secretly scare me since it's my birthday...okay maybe less likely to happen but I want to go outside...to see the stars.

I exited out of the Slytherin common room and found a way upstairs. I was curious so I walked up and it said somewhere carved "the astronomy tower". Well, I'm definitely going to come here a lot more often...it's a dark but a slightly big place to be sitting by yourself in, but I like it. 

I sat down, near the edge of the astronomy tower and dangled my feet around. I looked down to see a, probably good 20 meters down...but that didn't scare me so I ignored the distance and looked up the stars for a while and got up to see the sky get lighter, and the

I walked around the castle a couple times, and explored new places until I got hungry. I skipped towards the hall to see a lot more people then yesterday. It's probably because this is the normal time everyone gets up. A lot of people wished me happy birthday today...yet I didn't know half of the people who did...

I finished with my breakfast and walked towards the library since they was nothing to do. I've read most of the books here, since we had a library at Malfoy Manor too. I read a couple of books about unknown creatures and some myth stories that were quite interesting but had I soon finished all the books in library...

awh, they don't really have a lot of books here in Hogwarts do they? I'll have to bring some of my favorites from home...Well...I'm done with reading these books so I guess I'll head back to my common room now...

I walked towards my common room, to see it crowded...huh?...I don't really like big crowds so I'm just gonna walk away...

"Grace?" I heard someone's voice call my name from behind. Dammit... I turned to see Draco, Harry, Hermione and Ron looking at Draco...which he was looking at me.

"GRACE" Draco called, running to me with arms out wide. He hugged me tight while the rest followed him

"hi" I said blankly and hugging him back automatically. He finally pulled away and looked at me with obvious worry

"what's going on?" I said to Draco then switching my eye contact with Harry

"Draco went to wake you up but you weren't there" Harry said with relief. I chuckled.

"you worry too much" I said patting Draco's head. 

"Happy birthday, by the way" He smirked at me loudly, so everyone could hear. I froze in place with my eyes closed and gave him a sarcastic smile at him.

"why, thank you." I said smiling at him annoyed. "I'll catch you up later" I said waving to Draco and hopped to Ron's side.

"So. What's for today's agenda 'Mione?" I asked her skipping next to Ron

"Well, we were going to find some research in the library about Nicolas Flamel, along with the philosopher's stone...BUT we have been informed it's your birthday today" Hermione said smiling excitedly at me

"uhh, well whoever said that is probably-" I didn't get to finish my sentence and got interrupted by Hermione

"your brother" she said laughing 

"such a great brother.." I muttered staring at the floor and looked back up to Hermione "well, I guess it is my birthday, but we back to the Nicolas Flamel information" I said trying to unsuccessfully distract them. Hermione just frowned and opened her mouth, but she was too slow.
