Grace Malfoy, The odd one out.

Part 17 - detention

We walked towards Professor McGonagall and Draco, looking down and I purposely nudged his shoulder annoyed, moving him out of the way. He just smirked wider, ugh, he's can be really annoying at times. I mean, why did he even follow us?!

"Good evening." she said to us four, while we looked down, but then looked up at her forcing a smile.

"hi..." was all I said as Draco started to quietly snicker, unfortunately he wasn't quite enough. 

"Nothing gives a student the right to walk around the school at curfew hours. Therefore your punishment for your actions-" Draco cut her off

"I don't think Grace should receive a punishment. As Potter made her follow him." Draco said. I glared at him to whole time but then rolled my eyes at his excuse

"Ms. Malfoy...? Mr. Potter, is that true?" Professor McGonagall said facing me but turned to Harry, as I glared at Draco the whole time

Hermione nudged him and nodded 

"erm- yes, Professor McGonagall...We forced Grace to come to us" Harry said looking at me with a tight smile, I returned the smile but a 'thank you' one.

"Very well...I guess I shouldn't take 50 points for Ms. Malfoy, but for you thre-" Professor McGonagall had been interrupted by Harry this time

"50 POINTS?!"  Harry said with his mouth open in outrage

"yes Mr. Potter, but if any of you start to interrupt me again I will take more points off your houses" Professor McGonagall said sternly, I just tried very hard to smile but I unsuccessfully smiled and giggled a little bit from her being stern.

"Now, to insure you all for being out here at this time you five will receive detention" I smirked at him now, knowing what's going to happen. He exchanged a look at Professor McGonagall, as she turned to him.

"Excuse me Professor, Perhaps I heard you wrong but did you say 'the five of us'." Draco said confused

"no, you heard me correctly Mr. Malfoy. You see, as honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will serve detention with your fellow classmates." I turned to Hermione, Harry and Ron, all reflecting our grins, then I turned to Draco who just looked pissed. It took my strength to not laugh out loud, so I looked down covering my mouth with the back on my left hand.

"Now you all are excused, and are going to head with Mr. Flinch. Since your all awake, you will be having your detention helping Hagrid" Professor McGonagall said, as we walked away from the castle back to Hagrid's hut.

"This is unbelievable!" Draco said annoyed

"Seems quite believable to me" I said smirking at him

"Oh sod off, Grace. And wipe that smirk off your face!" He said pushing me, I just smirked bigger in his face. 

"I didn't get a chance to give your present to you, since you were with those mudblood-"

"LA LA LA LA LA" I said covering my eyes, ignoring his comment. He grinned and winked at me, so annoying.

"So I'll give it to you in tomorrow" He said as I stopped, I disagreed for him to get me anything before but it seems he didn't listen, hmph.

Detention time, yay...why did Draco have to snitch, hmph goody two shoes. But at least his plan back fired and he had to come as well. We all walked outside and stopped just when Mr. Flinch stopped. 

"What?" I said annoyed at the old man

"A pity old punishments die...sometimes the would find you hanging by your thumbs in the dungeons" Flinch mumbled, I rolled my eyes as Draco gulped next to me, clenching his hands into a fist.
