I sat down in my chair as Scott paced in front of us while mumbling to himself.

''Scott.'' Steve grabbed his attention. Scott stopped moving and turned to Steve who was standing in the corner with his arms crossed. ''You okay?'' Steve asked him.

''Yeah,'' Scott answered, rubbing his hands over his face.

''Have any of you guys studied quantum physics?'' He asked, looking between the three of us.

Both Steve and I shook our heads no. ''Only to make conversation,'' Natasha answered.

''Alright, so five years ago... right before Thanos, I was in a place called the quantum realm. It is like its own microscopic universe and to get in there you have to be incredibly small,'' He explained to us.

''Hope, she my uh... she was my uh... she was supposed to pull me out and then Thanos happened and I got stuck in there.''

''Sorry, that must have been a very long five years.'' Natasha sympathetically replied.

''Yeah, but that's just... For me, it was five hours. See the rules of the Quantum Realm aren't like they up here, everything is unpredictable.'' Before he could go on his eyes caught the rest of the sandwich I left on the table.

''Is that anybody's sandwich? I'm starving.'' I couldn't even say 'yes it's mine' before he grabbed it and started eating it.

I couldn't help but frown a little. That was a good sandwich.

''Scott, what are you talking about?'' Steve said, trying to get him to focus.

''So, what I'm saying is time works differently in the Quantum Realm.'' He spoke with his mouth full. ''The only problem is we don't have  a  way to navigate it, but what if he did.''

Steve, Nat, and I all shared a look. Was this the answer we were looking for?

''What if somehow control the chaos and we could navigate it? What if there was a way we could enter the Quantum Realm at a certain point in time... Like before Thanos.'' He continued to ramble.

''So like a time machine?'' I finally spoke up for the first time since Scott had been in here.

''No.'' He shook his head making me furrow my eyebrows. ''Not a time machine... more like a... time machine.'' He sighed. I nodded my head knowing that I was right.

''I know it's crazy, but I can't stop thinking about it... there's got to be some way... but it's crazy.

''Scott... I get emails from a raccoon. Nothing sounds crazy anymore.'' Natasha reasurred him.

''So who do we talk to about this?'' He asked.

I knew we were all thinking the same thing.

We all pulled up to the familiar looking cabin in the woods. It was a beautiful place to live, and right off the lake.

I got out of the car, shutting the door behind me.
