Clint stood in the middle of the machine Tony and Rocket had built together.

The rest of us all stood behind Banner, who was behind the control panel. I bounced on my toes nervously. This had to work.

''Alright, Clint. We are going in 3... 2...1,'' He pressed some buttons before Clint had shrunk and disappeared.

I took a deep breath. Seconds felt like minutes before he was brought back.

Clint screamed, falling onto the ground when he reappeared. Once the machine was off, Natasha and I were quick to run by his side.

''You okay?'' I quickly asked helping him off the ground. He looked around a bit dazed before turning his attention back to Nat and I. ''Ya.'' He breathed out.

He looked down at the baseball glove in his hand that I had yet notice before handing it to Natasha. ''It worked.''

Those two words were all I need to hear.

My legs felt shaky. I had to grab on Natasha to keep myself balanced.

It worked... It really worked.

I couldn't believe that after five years we had finally figured it out.

Natasha and I shared a look. A look of hope.

We were all sitting in a room. The screens in front of us were showing over all of the stones, and what they do.

I sat on the table, with my legs crossed in front of me.

''Okay, so, the How works. Now we gotta figure out the where and when,'' Steve said, standing in front of all of us.

''Almost everyone in this room has an encounter with the six infinity stones,'' Steve said

''Or substitute the word encounter for damn near killed by one of the infinity stones,'' Tony added. He had just walked in with a to-go cup of coffee in his hand.

I couldn't argue with him on that one.

''I haven't... but I don't know what the hell you're all talking about,'' Scott spoke up.

''Regardless... we only have enough pin particles for one round trip each, and these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history,'' Bruce said, walking around the room.

''Our history. So not a lot of convenient sports to just drop in,'' Tony added.

''So that means we have to pick our targets,'' Clint spoke from where he was leaned up against the wall, with his arms crossed. ''Correct,'' Tony pointed to him.

''So let's start with the Aether. Thor, what do you know?'' Steve said. All of our attention looked back to Thor. He was shocked back in his chair. Beer in hand, sunglasses covering his eyes.

''Is he asleep?'' Natasha asked, breaking the awkward silence.

''No, I'm pretty sure he's dead,'' I responded.

''Uh, where to start, um,'' Thor took off his sunglasses, pointing them at the screen.

An image of the Aether stone, or Reality Stone, was shown on the screen.
