''Alright, we have a plan,'' Steve stood in front of us. ''Six Stones, three teams, one shot.''

It was a dramatic moment as we were all suited up, walking towards the machine.

''Five years ago we lost... all of us. We lost friends, we lost family, we lost apart of ourselves. Today we have a chance to take it back. You know your teams and you know your teams and you know your missions. Get the stones and get back. One round trip each, no mistake, no do-overs. Most of us are going somewhere we know. That doesn't mean we know. That doesn't mean we know what to expect. Be careful, look out for each other. This is the fight of our lives and we're gonna win... whatever it takes,'' Steve gave us a speech.

He looked around at everyone, his and Tony's eyes met for a second, sharing a small smile. ''Good luck,'' he told everyone as we all separated into groups.

''He's pretty good at that,'' Rocket mumbled, after Steve finished.

''Right,'' Scott chuckled in agreement.

Bruce went down getting the machine ready to go before walking back up.

''We are gonna do this,'' Steve put his arm around me reassuringly. I looked up at him with a small smile. ''It's now or never,'' I mumbled.

''See you in a minute,'' Natasha looked over to us with a smile.

It had been a while since I had seen a real smile on Natasha's face. That was because now we had a real shot at getting her family back... our family back.

The machine started to move. The helmet came over my head and before I knew it we were zapped away.

The was colorful but quick. It was like sliding down a rainbow and instead of falling into a pot of gold, we fell into a black hole.

New York 2012.

The Avengers first battle together.

Steve, Tony, Banner, Scott, and I all appeared.

''All right, we all have our assignments. Two stones uptown, one stone down,'' Steve walked out, checking the street.

''Stay low, keep an eye on the clock.''

We all jumped back when a loud roar and a bang was heard.

The Hulk had come down the street, smashing the Chitauri. After killing the remaining one, he jumped on top of the smashed car.
