I will always remember the feeling of walking into that school, and no one knowing who I was. No one in the there saw me as Y/N or as 'Super-Nova'. Most of them didn't even know Y/N. But the ones who did, they knew me as me, and that was all needed after five years of being a hero.

I clutched Peter's hand in the crowded halls of the school. It had only been a couple of days since Tony's death, and the two of us barely slept. There were dark bags under Peter's eyes, mine more bloodshot.

People around us radiated happy energy, but the numbness of  Peter beside me was all I seemed to feel. For me, I had gotten to say goodbye to Tony properly, and that was something I would always cherish. But for Pete, all he understood was that he had been there, and then he hadn't. The only thing keeping him grounded was me, and my promise that I wouldn't be going anywhere and I always be by his side.

I had seen a few people from our class as we wandered the building, but my eyes landing on my other best friend was so much better. I saw Ned before ned, so I let go of his hand and used my crutch to walk to him. I wrapped him in a tight hug and buried my face on his shoulder, sighing in relief. Ned in turn wrapped his arms around me and chuckled slightly.

''When did you become a hugger?'' He teased me. ''And I what happen to you Y/N?'' He asked me because I'm on a crutch.

Umm, it's a long story, and when I five years without seeing my best friends,'' I told him in a low voice, pulling back to see his shocked face.

''I'm expecting an epic story later,'' Ned told me. I smiled and wiped away a tear I hadn't noticed falling. We were quickly joined by Peter who did their handshake with Ned, ending in a first bump. They looked at each other, smiling for a moment, before hugging, too.

And for a minute, all was right.

''Everyone wants a happy ending right?''

The couch was far too small for four people to be seated on, but we made it work. We didn't mind the closeness. Morgan was squished against my side, one little hand wrapped around my arm, the other holding Pepper's. Happy sat on my other side, gazing at the hologram in front of us.

''But it doesn't always roll that way.''

I silently agreed with Tony's voice, looking at his transparent face.

''Maybe this time.''

I looked around at all of the other Avengers who stood in the living room of Pepper and Tony's house, thinking about how Clint and Scott had gotten their families back.

''I'm hoping if you play this back... It's in celebration.''

''I hope families are reunited. I hope we get it back, and something like a normal version of the planet has been restored if there such a thing.''

I smiled and chuckled slightly, as did a few of the people around me. Our world was far from normal. If it were, then Thanos would never have been a threat, and none of us would have insane abilities. Although so much pain and suffering had come out of things not being normal, normal would be boring.

''God, what a world. Universe, now if you'd told me ten years ago that we weren't alone... Let alone to this extent, I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised. But c'mon, who knew? The epic forces of dark and light that have come into play. And for better or worse... That's the reality that Morgan's gonna have to find a way to grow up in.''

The little girl sunk further into my side, her heart beating quickly at the sound of her name.

''So I thought I'd probably record a little greeting in the case of an untimely death, on my part. Not that death at any time isn't untimely.''
