I gasped as we came back. My hand found the bar behind me to steady myself.

I sighed in relief when noticing Steve and Tony had made it back as well.

''Did we get them all?'' Bruce asked as I looked around the room.

The smile on my face went away as quickly as it came when my eyes met an angry and distraught Clint who was missing an important person.

''Clint, where's Nat?'' Bruce asked worryingly

He didn't have to answer. His face said it all.

My trembling hand went over my face, and I slowly lowered my body to the ground. How much did we lose?

***

Tears were still welled in my eyes as we sat outside. Clint had explained what happened to them.

''Do we know if she had a family?'' Tony asked, breaking the silence.

''Yeah... us,'' Steve answered, through his tears.

I wiped my eyes, scooting up next to Steve before laying my head on his shoulder.

I don't know how much more grief I could take. It felt as if every time we moved forward a step, something was still there to push us back.

''What?'' Thor walked forward raising his eyebrows. ''I'm just asking a question,'' Tony responded to Thor, who was now a few inches in front of Tony's face.

''I know, but you're acting like she's dead. Why are we acting like she's dead? We have the stones right? As long as we have the stones we can bring them back, right Cap? So stop this shit, we are the Avengers, get it together,'' Thor rambled.

I could tell he was more hurt by this than he let on. He tried to keep himself together, but he was so broken inside.

''You can't bring her back,'' Clint spoke up in a cold tone.

''What?'' Tears brimmed Thor's eyes as he shook his head in disbelief.

''You can't get her back... You can't,'' he spoke in a low tone. Thor laughed in response.

''I'm sorry, no offense. But you are a very earthly being and we are talking about space magic,'' Thor said, trying to find any possible way out of this when deep down he knew there wasn't one.

''Yeah look, I know I'm way outside my paygrade here, but she still isn't here is she. It can't be undone,'' Clint's voice broke as he spoke. ''Or at least that's what the red floating guy said. So why don't you go talk to him okay? You grab your hammer and you fly and talk to him,'' Clint was now yelling.

Seeing him so broken, was slowly killing me. I had never seen him like this before. Clint was always finding light in situations.

After a few seconds of silence, Clint spoke up. His face was red from crying in anger. ''It was supposed to be me... she sacrificed her life for that goddam stone. She put her life on it.''

Banner let out an angry yell, picking up a nearby bench, chucking it into the lake. ''She not coming back,'' Bruce mumbled. ''We have to make it worth it. We have to.''

''We will,'' Steve firmly spoke.

***

''Hey, it's Peter... Parker, Peter Parker. Sorry if I couldn't answer the phone. I might be doing homework or fighting crime. Feel free to leave a message after the beep, but you don't want to... ''Bye.''

''Hey, Peter... It's me again,'' I sighed, sitting down on my bed.

''I think we really have it this time. Tony, Rocket, and Banner are downstairs making a new Gaulet downstairs. It uh... It feels nice having hope. Hope that something good will come of all this mess,'' I ran my hand through my h/l hair, looking at the picture on my nightstand of all the Avengers together.

''We lost Natasha... I know you never really knew her. When I first met her, she was kind of scared me. She was fierce and though. I used to want to be just like her. She never worried about how anyone looked at her.

She was always there to talk to me when I needed it. She found a family in Avengers and gave her life to bring them back,'' I wiped the tears from my eyes.

I took a minute before going on.

''Remember when we went to space and met the Guardians of the Galaxy and I was gushing about how cute Thor was? By the way, you looked so cute when you were jealous. Anyways, you don't have to be jealous anymore... These five years have not done him well. It pains me to see him and all the others so broken. Especially Clint and Thor. Two people that I have looked up to for so long,'' I sighed. I could still remember the day we met Quill and his people perfectly. Those were memories I couldn't let go of.

''Anyways... I just want you to know if this works... and something goes wrong and I um... don't make it,'' I had taken a deep breath and regroup myself. ''That I never stopped fighting for you and that no matter what happens I will always love you. I love you Peter Parker and having you in my life when my parents died and moving in and spending time with you and Aunt May is the best thing that has ever happened to me,'' I pulled the phone away from my face before hanging up.

I let out a sigh before suiting up.

This is for Peter, Wanda, Bucky, Sam, Quill, and all the others we lost.

This was the fight of our lives. We didn't know how this was going to work out, but nothing ever goes completely right with us, so I had to be ready for anything

We are truly in the Endgame now.
