Chapter 23

Focus is like a GPS tracker, it always tells you where you are.
- Deyth Banger

I sit back down on the couch and continue to smile at them. They sit back down along with me. I stare out in front of me and put my hands on my temples, leaning back into the couch. "Damn, I knew y'all were hiding something from me, but I didn't know it was this big. Like woah." I say, making the mind blown motion with my hands.

"Wait. You knew we were hiding something?" Jay asks me. I nod my head. "I realized it when we first moved to Georgia, when we went to that amusement park after I told y'all about my life." I say. They all looked at me in disbelief.  "You realized something was up and you still trusted us and let us live with you?!" Zack shouts in disbelief while I nod my head at him. "The moment I told y'all my life, I trusted you. I did have some doubts, like when I was in the car, heading here. I freaked out on Ace." I say nodding my head towards Ace. He nods his head, confirming what I said.

"She almost passed out from a panic/anxiety attack she had, while I was driving." Ace says, not stareing anymore.

"So, let me get this straight." Jay pauses, rubbing his temples with his hands. "You knew we were hiding something, but even though you knew that, you continued to trust us. Also you had a panic/anxiety attack on Ace while we were driving towards this place." He says, interwinding his fingers together and placing them over his mouth. I nod my head in confirmation.

Jay sighs and leans back into the couch. "I can't believe we didn't even realize you knew we were hiding something." Lee says smiling to himself. I chuckle. "Well, we all know I'm a good actor. I mean I hid in a new school, and even the most powerful mafia didn't even know what or who I actually was." I state. Lee looks up at me and chuckles, shaking his head.

"You're right." He says

"Well enough with this, I need someone to help me with something." I say turning serious.

"And what might that be?" Lee asks, everyone turning serious when they saw/heard my change in mood. I pulled out a syringe I had in my jean pocket. "Why did you just randomly pull out a needle out of your pocket?" Zack asks curiously, looking at me like I'm secretly a magician. I laugh at his facial expression.

"Don't worry, I'm not doing drugs, nor am I a magician" I say, turning my attention to Zack, at the end of it. "This," I shake the needle, showing I'm referring to it. "Is a tracker that was liquefied to go into someone's bloodstream." I say. They look at me weirdly. "How did you manage that?" Ace asks, very interested in how I made it.

"I was fooling around one day in my spare time, and I managed to liquefy a GPS tracker." I say, shrugging my shoulders. They continue to gape at me until I clear my throat to gain their attention again. "Anyways, I need someone to inject this into my mid-back." I say looking at them hopefully.

"Sure, I'll do it." Ace speaks up after a millisecond.

I smile and stand up. "Come on. I have the tracker fluid in my room." I say, walking away from the group. I can hear them smiling at me and Ace. I make my way up to my room, with Ace following behind me.

I get to my room and walk through it, making a beeline straight to my backpack. I left the door open for Ace while I searched through my bag to find the little bottle. I heard him close the door when I got to the pocket that held the bottle. I filled the syringe with the tracking device and turned around and faced Ace. "Alright," I hand him the syringe and turn back around. "I need you to put it right here." I say, pulling up my shirt and showing him where I need him to put the needle.

He stares at my back for a second before he starts to move towards me. I rub the spot on my back, to get the blood flowing, before I move my hand to allow him access to that spot. "Alright, do you want a count down or do you want me to just do it?" Ace asks, putting his hand on that spot on my back.
