Nash and Hayes were screaming at the television, waiting for the news reporter to announce our school was cancelled once again tomorrow. But it hasn't been announced, and I was just a little afraid that we would end up having to go back.

I know we have to go back at some point, but I'm not exactly prepared yet.

"Please God," Nash closes his eyes and prays. "One more snow day?"

"Just one more?" Hayes adds, putting his hands together and looking upwards.

I want to laugh at their stupidity but I really can't. I've been too caught up in my thoughts to be able to concentrate on anything. When Shawn left earlier, I couldn't tell why I was upset. I told him to leave, but deep down I wanted him to stay.

Madison joins the three of us in the living room and groans. "Almost every school around here is closed except us."

It was true. Even Shawn's school was already closed.

My phone started ringing and I sighed seeing Shawn was calling me. I stand up, walking into the kitchen and answering the phone. "Hello?"

"Andrea..." he says slowly. "I'm stuck."

"What?"

"My car... I got stuck on the side of the road on the end of your street." he explains.

"Why are you out driving in this weather in the first place?" I groan, rubbing my temples with one of my hands.

"I was on my way to your house again," he mumbles. "I wanted to come back."

"I'll ask Cameron if he can come help you." I say and hang up. I turn to walk out of the kitchen and run right into Bella.

A gasp leaves my mouth and my eyes widen. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know you were in here."

"Was that Shawn?" she asks.

"Yeah," I answer, looking at her suspiciously. "Why?"

She doesn't say anything. She decides to stare at me until I have officially had enough. "Are you the one writing me those notes?"

"Hm?" she looks confused, but that doesn't cover up the amusement in her eyes. "What notes?" she asks, cocking her head to the side.

"Never mind." I say quickly before sprinting out of the kitchen.

I find Cameron and ask him if we could go down the road and help Shawn. He says yes, and we get ready to go outside into the winter wonderland, aka polar death area.

I see Shawn's car in the distance as soon as we step outside, and I can't help but laugh at the sight of him on the side of the road not moving. He isn't that smart sometimes.

Twenty minutes later Shawn was in my house standing in front of the door awkwardly. "Um, is it okay if I stay a while?"

"Yeah," I answer even though he was asking Cameron, who was in charge. I wish Bella didn't come with him to stay here too. I could do without the blonde psycho waltzing around my house.

Shawn and I go up to my room where Anna is. My little sister gets up from the bed and starts to leave the room as soon as we enter.

"Hey, where are you going?" I ask her before she walks out.

"I know you guys want some privacy." she smiles at the two of us, and I exchange a look with Shawn. He shrugs.

"Okay..." I smile at Anna and she leaves the room.

Shawn plops down onto my bed, something he does every time we go into my room. "Are you still mad at me?"

"I was never mad." I tell him as I lay down next to him.

He scoffs, rolling his eyes. "Like I am supposed to believe that."

I sigh. "Okay, I was a little mad."

"I'm sorry for defending Bella," he says as he plays begins to play with my hair. "I just really don't think she's doing this."

"I know you don't. Let's not talk about it."

We lay there for a while. He was mindlessly playing with my hair as I was deep in thought.

It had to be her. That thing I knew I saw behind her smile? I figured it out. It just made so much sense, all the pieces fit together and all the clues led up to the conclusion.

My eyes roamed around my room while I thought about why it could be Bella doing this, and they landed on a certain something. On my nightstand sat my book I was currently reading, but there was something sticking out of it. It wasn't my bookmark, instead it was another bright-yellow sticky note.

"Shit." I mumble.

"What?" Shawn asks, his actions coming to a halt as he sits up.

I grab the note nervously to see the same handwriting I had seen before.

Andrea,

You know, I am not afraid to hurt you. I am the lion, and you are the mouse.

I furrowed my eyebrows, then rolled my eyes. "Whoever the hell this is, they are an idiot."

"Why?" Shawn questions, reading the note over my shoulder.

"Everyone knows in the story of the lion and the mouse, the lion let the mouse go."

"Hey, are you okay?" he asks me, which throws me off guard.

I turn to him and say, "What?"

"Are you okay?" he repeats. "These notes... they're creepy. I want you to be safe."

I nod slowly. "Yeah, yeah. It's probably just one of my siblings being stupid." I assure him.

But I'm lying; I know it's Bella.

Shawn smiles at me, pulling me back down and kissing me. I end up smiling, and he smiles with me. No matter what, we're always smiling together in the end.

"I can never get enough of you." he quietly tells me. My cheeks flush at the comment, but I just kiss him again as a reply.
