Amity sat in her room, looking at the Grudgy photo on her desk. Something about what Boscha said bothered her. Amity looked closer at the photo, trying to remember why Boscha would ask about it. Lovers would have photos of each other, wouldn't they? Something about that word sent shivers down Amity's spine. 'Lovers.' She was engaged to Boscha, her parents told her that they were in love. Yet Boscha ran away with little hesitation. 'She said something about my eyes.' Amity thought to herself. Taking a mirror Amity looked into her eyes. They looked normal. Sharp eyes with a golden hue. 'Hue?' Amity thought. 'My eyes don't glow.' Taking a deeper look into her eyes, Amity saw an unnatural hue surrounding them. Making her eyes almost glow, Amity stood from her chair in shock. Throwing it back onto the ground with a loud thud. Still in shock Amity continued to look into the mirror. 'My eyes don't glow.' It was a horrifying sight. Amity stumbled to the light switch, flicking it downwards and casting her room into absolute darkness. Or it should have been absolute. But in the darkness, Amity's eyes glowed. It was a soft light, nowhere near bright enough to light up the entire room. But enough to make a noticeable difference.

Amity lunged to her desk and grabbed the mirror and held it in shaking hands. Her fingers twitched as she stared into the mirror. Her unnatural eyes stared back at her. She dropped the mirror, letting it shattered into a thousand pieces. Her hand getting cut by the glass, blood spilling from the wound. Dripping onto the ground, staining the floor. She started to remember everything. Willow's abomination, the library, the knee, Grom, Grudgy, Her fight with Boscha, Lilith's betrayal, Luz.. Amity looked at the floor, her eyes reflected back in the broken shards of glass. "Luz." Amity whispered falling to her knees. How could she forget Luz?" Tears spilled onto the ground, her memories surging back. She remembered everything, including the kiss.

"What happened!" Her father yelled rushing into the room. "Are you oka--." Her father stopped his eyes drawn the blood surrounding Amity as she sat on the floor. Concern melted into anger. Alador squared his shoulders and walked towards Amity.

"Why do my eyes glow? What did you do to me!" Amity screamed at her father as she rose. Her knees were cut up now, tears and blood fell onto the floor. "What did you do to Luz?!!" An eerie silence filled the room.

Alador twitched at Luz's name. His eyes flinched and he took a deep breath. "Look at you dear, your a mess." He began walking closer. "Come here, I can fix you right up." The distance was closing. "I can make you perfect. So perfect that you will never defect like this again" His eyes were glowing now, the distance gone. He reached forwards his hand grabbing Amity's neck. "Don't worry dear, that Human wont plague your mind anymore. In fact this time, I'll make sure nothing will plague your mind ever again. This time we will start from scratch. You can finally be perfect."

Amity clawed at his hands, scratching and squirming. Trying to get out of his grasp. Her legs floated above the ground. Her feet dangling in the air. With a final breath Amity's scream echoed inside the manor.

Odalia smiled leaning against the wall beside Amity's door. Her glowing eyes dulled until they were normal. With the hue gone, she walked away, letting the light drain from Amity's eyes.
