Chapter Twenty-Eight: Stressed Out
*~*April 12, 2013*~*
Rocky’s POV
Its been three months since the date night when we planned pretty much everything.
We’ve all been running around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to plan the wedding as quickly as possible.
But I think the stress was hitting Kylie the most.
She basically wanted to plan the whole wedding by herself while watching Collin. It was complete insanity.
What ended up happening was Collin stayed with her mom in Wisconsin and Kylie came to Cali to plan. Which that was a month ago. She talked to Collin everyday for at least an hour, telling him all the plans that I'm sure he didn't even understand.
Her, my mom, Rydel, and Kelly planned an entire wedding in less than a month.
Currently it was a week before the wedding and we were scrambling to get everything ready with finishing touches.
We are having the wedding in my backyard, it might be a little small but we didn't invite that many people.
I was just chilling with the guys playing some video games when Kylie ran into the room looking panicked.
“Kyles what's wrong?” Ryland asks.
“Rocky. Come here now.” She breathed.
I quickly got up and followed Kylie to the guest room.
“Rocky whos going too walk me down the aisle?!?”
“You dad- oh I’m sorry I didn't mean it, I wasn't thinking.” I rambled.
“Rocky its fine. But we need to figure this out. The wedding is in a week!”
I went silent. I didn't know what to say.
“Your mom maybe?”
She looked at the ground. “Or maybe I could call my dad and see what he says. I do really miss him.” She says quietly.
I wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her into a hug.
I press my lips to hers gently. “How about we think about this tomorrow. You have been really stressed lately. Go have a spa day or something with the girls and just relax. Don't think about the wedding at all. I’ll handle everything here, I promise.”
She sighs. “Your perfect you know that?”
I chuckle. “I try my best.”
No POV
The girl all got ready and headed to the mall.
They went to a spa and just relaxed, making small talk.
But at home Rocky was stressing.
He didn't know what to do about what Kylie had said early.
He debated whether or not it was a good idea to have Kylie call her dad. He kept on thinking about the what if’s. What is he said yes and did come out here, would it be awkward? And what if he said no. Kylie would be completely heart broken. And he couldn't stand to see her like that.
Rocky finally made up his mind. He decided to call Kylie’s mom.
She answered on the third ring. “Hello?” She sounded confused, because of the unfamiliar number.
“Hi Mrs Adams, its Rocky. I need some advice.”
“Oh hi Rocky! And what’s up?”
