Chapter Twenty-Seven: Date Night


Kylie’s POV


We finally found it. After three agonizing hours of shopping, I found THE dress. It was perfect. When I first looked into the mirror I knew it was THE one.

I showed the girls, did a little twirl and they were silent.

“Is it bad?” I asked, hoping it wasn't.

“No no! Its.” Kelly paused.

“Ky, its the dress.” Rydel says, still awestruck.

I look over at my future mother-in-law. She was tearing up.

“Stormie what's wrong?” I ask.

“You are so beautiful! Rocky is very lucky to have you.” She wiped at her eyes.

I felt tears come too my eyes and eventually all of us girls were crying.

It must have looked quite hilarious if you ask me.


Finally I went to take it off and buy it. But then I looked at the price tag.

“Um guys. I can't buy this dress.” I stated, truthfully I was sad.

“Why not?!” They all gasp in unison.

“It cost over a thousand dollar. I can't afford that!”

Emily hands me an envelope. Inside was a card.

The card read:

“Dear Kylie,

We all chipped in a bit so you can get the perfect dress you want. Also we want you to be able to have a perfect wedding. We all support you and Rocky one hundred percent.

With love,
Emily, Stormie, Mark, Riker, Ross, Ratliff, Ryland, Rydel, Kelly, and Mom<3”

Also inside the envelope was a check.

I was nearly in tears. I couldn't get any word to come out. I was so glad to have such amazing friends and family.

“Thank you.” I grasp them all into a group hug.




*~*~*At Kylie’s house, a few hours later*~*~*



Turns out that Emily and Riker are having a date night tonight. So Rocky and I decided too do something similar. So we could work out the details of the wedding.

I was just planning on going too someplace like culvers but Emily had other plans for us.

Since it was a friday night, Em made us get all dressed up and sent us on our way to one of my favorite restaurants. Green Lantern.

Green Lantern is a bar, but they have amazing Friday fish fry!

Emily gave me a new dress to wear. Its a short white dress, that just reached my knees,  with a black bow on the waist. I put on some silver heels, that had gems on them. I had some false diamond earrings in and a guitar pick necklace that said ‘where words fail music speaks’.

Emily did my hair and makeup. She did my nails, they were white with pink splatter, she had insisted that I needed some color on. My hair was slightly wavy with a white flower/bow. She did my eye makeup with a smokey eye. And I had light lip gloss on. (Polyvore link in the external link)

“KYLIE!!” Emily screamed from down the hall.

“WHAT?!?”

“ARE YOU READY YET?!?”

“YES!”

“THEN GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE! ROCKY AND RIKER ARE ALMOST HERE.”

Rocky had went over to Emily’s house, to get ready with Riker.

I walked out of my room too see Collin playing with Rydel and Kelly. They had agreed to watch him. But of course my mom and Stormie were they too, but they were in the kitchen talking.

I saw that Emily wasn't as dressed up as I was. She was wearing a teal colored knee length dress, with nude colored flats. She was wearing light pink rose earrings and a necklace that read ‘love’. Her nails were black or white with multi-colored splatter, her eyes had  light mascara and eyeliner, with a shimmery brown eyeshadow. Her lips had on a layer of lipgloss and her hair was down and was just a little bit more curled than usual. (Go on my polyvore and you can see her outfit. My polyvore is r5er1der8499)

“You look hot chica!” I say, pulling her into a hug.

“Not as hot as you!”

“Well lets let the guys decide on that.” I say with a wink.

Collin runs over to me and I pick him up.

“Aunt Rydel and Aunt Kelly said that you and daddy are going on a date! So I’m going to stay with them and we can play!!”

I chuckle at his giddiness. “Thats fine baby. Just remember that your bedtime is 7:30!”

“But mumma!! Why can't I stay up later!”

“Maybe, let me talk to Aunt Rydel and Aunt Kelly.”

I set him down and he goes to talk to Em.

I walk over and sit on the couch in the middle of Rydel and Kelly.

“Thanks guys for watching Collin tonight. It means a lot to Rocky and I.”

“Don’t worry about it! We’re happy for you and Rocky.” Kelly says.

Rydel nods in agreement. “Yeah Ky. So I’m guessing you guys are going to be working out all the details for the wedding tonight?”

“Yeah probably! And don't worry, you guys will definitely be bridesmaids.” We all grin.

“Yay! Now what do we feed that little guy? Andwhat is his bedtime?”

“Um well, my mom will probably handle the food. But if not then you can make him some mac and cheese. You can help yourself to food and drinks. We don't mind. And his bedtime is 7:30, but if he can convince you too stay up later, that’s fine. Just no later than 8:30.”

“Ok, now I think they are here. Go have some fun! Don't stress out to much. We’ll be fine.” Kelly answers.

“Thanks again guys.”

I stand up from the couch and walk into the kitchen to say goodbye to the moms.

“Oh honey you look so beautiful!” They both say at the same time.

I blush but chuckle because they said it unison.

“Thanks guys.”

They both give me a hug, then Stormie says. “Well you go have fun now.”

“Thanks Stormie.”

I walk back into the living room to see that Rocky and Riker are here.

They looked hot! (Their clothes in the picture too the side)

“Hey babe.” Rocky says, kissing me on the forehead. “You look amazing.”

I blush. “Thanks. You don't look to bad yourself.” I grin.

He chuckles. “You ready to go?”

“Of course.” He takes my hand and we walk towards the door.



After the small drive of me telling him where to go, we finally arrive at Green Lantern.

“Um Ky, this looks like a bar.”

“Thats because it is! But they have amazing fish fry!”

“If you say so.”

We get inside and I ask for a table for two.

Then we order drinks.

We both got kiddie cocktails! We are such kids!

We finally got our seats and we both ordered the two piece cod.

After the waitress left to go put our orders in Rocky looks at me.

“So, wanna talk about the wedding?”

“Yeah. Ok first, I want Collin to be the ring bearer. But who could be the flower girl?”

“How about my cousin Beauty?”

“Yes! thats a great idea.”

“Ok, I think I'm going to have Riker be my best man. Then Ryland, Ross, and Ratliff be groomsmen. That sound ok?”

“Definitely. Of course Em will be my maid of honor and Kelly and Rydel will be bridesmaids. Oh wait, we need another bridesmaid so its even.”

He thinks for a bit. “Um my cousin Lori?”

“Oh yeah! See I have no brain today!” I chuckle.

“Hah. Ok now colors.”

“Oh thats a tricky one. Well your favorite color is lime green and mine is purple. So the bridesmaids dresses can be purple and the groomsmen can have lime green ties!” I say proudly.

“That sounds great.”

The waitress brings us our food and I immediately dig in. Like this fish is amazing.

“So Ky. I was thinking we could have the wedding in Cali. Would you be okay with that?”

“Of course! It would be amazing. I’ve actually always wanted to go there.”

We spent the rest of the evening chatting about the wedding and eventually to other topics.

If you would have told me a couple months ago that I would be engaged to Rocky Lynch, I would probably have sent you too a mental hospital. But look where I am now.

Hope you liked that chapter! I Yeah i know it was kinda boring but there will be drama in the next few chapters!! But sadly this story will be ending very soon. And if you read the important info before then you will know that I have another R5 fanfic planned!!
