Chapter 24

VICTORIA

"Clinton, alam kong gising ka." Sabi ko.

"It's a weekend, Tori. At wala tayong schedule ngayong araw. Let me be lazy and stay in bed all day."

"Then stay in bed all day." Sabi ko.

Sinubukan ko namang umalis ng kama pero lalong hinigpitan ni Clinton yung yakap n'ya sa akin. Hindi rin nakakatulong na ang lamig kahit na nakabukas yung heater.

"I meant that I wanna stay in bed with you."

Napairap na lang ako sa sinabi ni Clinton pero hinayaan ko na lang s'ya dahil parang inaantok pa rin talaga s'ya.

"Anong oras ka ba natulog?" Tanong ko at sumandal sa headboard ng kama.

"2 or 3 AM?" Sagot n'ya.

Sinilip ko naman yung digital clock sa bedside table at nakitang halos 10 AM pa lang. And frankly, I don't feel like getting out of the bed right now. So I just moved sideways facing Clinton. And when he draped his arm over my waist, I was actually planning to just sleep again. But a cute little fur ball also decided to lay down on me.

Ending ko tuloy, hinihimas ko yung likod ni Vicky habang si Clinton nakatulog ulit. Not bad though, since a sleeping Clinton is a sight to see.

He looks peaceful. Honestly, he looks calm most of the time. But even more now that I've seen him sleeping.

Now this makes me want to stay in bed. It also makes me wonder how he's like when he's angry or frustrated.

"Your Highnesses—"

"Ssh." I immediately said while resting my index finger over my lips.

I saw how Red and Ray looked at each other with confused faces before turning to face me. They have a trolley tray with them so I just mouthed for them to place whatever is on it on the two person table inside the room.

Ang in-expect ko, lalabas na sila ng kwarto namin pagkatapos ilagay sa two person table sa area kung nasaan yung TV, couch set, at fireplace. Pero dumaan sila sa arc kung nasaan yung kama namin at dresser. Yumuko pa sila sa akin bago lumakad papunta sa hall sa kwarto kung saan magkadikit yung bathroom at closet.

"Clinton."

Ayoko sana gisingin si Clinton pero hindi naman pumupunta si Ray at Red doon unles ico-coordinate yung susuotin namin. They're actually the ones picking our outfits in advance especially when we have a formal event to attend to.

"Hm?"

"Hey, wake up." Sabi ko pero lalo lang akong niyakap ni Clinton sa bewang, he even buried his face on my stomach!

Hindi ko naman mapigilan na matawa dahil sa ulo naman ni Clinton pumwesto si Vicky. She would've fallen off is she was a bit bigger.

"Good morning, Vicky. Let your father sleep." He mumbled but he didn't move.

Father, huh?

"Sigurado ka bang wala tayong schedule ngayong araw?" Tanong ko.

"Yeah."

"Well, Red and Ray are in our closet right now." Sabi ko.

Nagawa ko naman makawala sa yakal n'ya kaya nakaalis ako ng kama at lumakad papunta sa bathroom.

Our bathroom's actually as big as my room in our family home. As soon as you open the door to the bathroom, there's a door at the side that connects to the walk-in-closet. There's also another vanity mirror and this is where I get my hair and makeup done by the Lady Maids for events. Unlike sa vanity mirror na malapit sa kama, complete sa glamming materials yung nandito.
