VICTORIA

“I can’t believe you asked me to leave the after party for this.” Nakangiwing reklamo ko.

Jenny literally asked me to come with her to the room that she and Gian are staying fro the night to ask me which lingerie looked best!

“I brought five and I don’t know which one looks the best.”

“You know you didn’t have to let me know that you and Gian are…ugh.”

I chose the navy blue one and told her it’s the best among the five.

May at least two sets of clothing type. Meron ding all black outfit which is for emergency purposes. Naging ritual na for Royals, according to Clinton, na may set of black clothes. Dahil daw you never know what can happen.

The ruling monarch can die suddenly. Can be by old age, accident, o assassination. Kaya rin may apat na private jets ang Royal Family at usually one at a time lumabas ng kingdom ang Royals. Because it’s traditional for the members of the Royal Family to travel overseas separately. This is done to make sure that the throne wouldn’t be left unoccupied for too long or will be passed to another family suddenly.

Of course nag-reply ako ng oo which lead to him asking if we’re spending the night in the hotel.

Nang nag-reply ako kung saang floor at room number, I found myself opening the door after hearing doorbell minutes later.

“Hindi ka man lang umupo muna?” Nakangiwing tanong ko. “But to answer your question, yes. Binantayan pa ako ni Jenny, she’s actually the one pouring my shots.”

“Good.”

“I’m okay. Sasabihin ko naman kung hindi. At nakainom ka ba Kuya? Hindi kita nakita sa after party.”

“Tingin mo makikiinom ako kasama yung may birthday?

And it’s no use arguing so I just rolled my eyes before going to the kitchen area of the suite room.

“What did the Viscount’s son do to you? You sound annoyed.”

“I wanted to make sure that before I introduce my girlfriend to you and our parents, that she’s really the one I’ll marry.”

“Makes sense.

“My medication’s running low.”

“Edi magpabi—”

Biglang nababa ni Kuya yung teacup at tiningnan ako. I tried to keep eye contact but I couldn’t so I looked away. He's looking at like a client that omitted an important detail. And I heard how he sighed.

“Clinton doesn’t know.” Kuya concluded and he’s right so I didn’t say anything. “Fine, I’ll buy it for you. That’s your health and your own condition, so you have the right to choose who can know.”

“Thank you.” I mumbled.

“But Tori, you need to remember that he’s now your husband. He has the right to know and frankly, I can’t sit around knowing how demanding your title is. Someone in the Palace has to know so that you’re not the only one who knows about your limits.”
