Third Person Perspective

Ichika wiped the sweat droplets that were dripping from her forehead with her forearm. She'd been training all day with her squad, begging for the wind to cool her off. Ichika was sparring with Eld. He was wearing a light shirt with black sweatpants while she had a razorback top and full-length leggings

"Hey, we can take a break if you want to, tiny." Eld looked at her small, tired form. Her long hair stuck to her back as she threw it up into a regular ponytail today.

"You know Captain wouldn't be happy if we did such a thing. " She lightly laughed and put her arms over her head. She looked past Eld to see the sun close to setting.

"Alright Cadets, one last round and we will grab dinner." Levi seemed to be taking it easy on them tonight. The expedition was in the morning and he needed his squadmates at their best of abilities.

"Alright, let's finish this, tiny." Eld got back into a defensive stance and Ichika did the same, lightly snarking at him.

"Think you're gonna win? That's funny." She always tried to mess with her spar partner. Usually, she's spar with her brother so she was used to fighting taller and stronger people.

"In your dreams, sweetheart." The words rang through her mind, thinking back to a moment she tried to look away.

"Why won't you stay with me, Reiner? I can't take of our baby on my own." Ichika was outside her house at midnight, talking to her current love.

"Sweetheart, I told you. I can't stay here any longer. It'll be safer that way." Reiner caressed her cheek, kissing her forehead.

"When will I see you again?" She whispered to him, tears in her eyes She wanted to be with him forever, to raise their child together and be a big happy family. He leaned in and gave her one last kiss.

"In your dreams, sweetheart."

Eld slowly approached her, looking worried as the tiny woman had tears in her eyes, her face in shock.

"Hayashi-" Eld began but she cut him off. She kicked him in the chest, making him stumble back, giving her room for her to run. She ran full speed at him, jumping as high as she could, wrapping her legs around his head and twisting, sending them both down to the ground. She held one of his arms over his head while the other clawed at her legs. Ichika began squeezing her thighs tighter and tighter around his neck, cutting off his air way.

"Tiny, that's- enough-" Eld barely got the words out and Ichika wasn't listening to his commands. Instead, her legs were ripped off from him and she was flipped over, pinned to the ground.

"Now now, brat." Levi had held her hands behind her back and straddled over her hips. "What did I tell you about mixing personal life with work life, hmm brat?" He put his hand on the back of her head, pushing her face into the ground.

Eld managed to catch his breath, Gunther helped him stand up and patted him on the back. The rest of the squad approached the two tackled on the ground.

"You were thinking about him, weren't you?" Levi whispered in her ear so no one else could here. He was triggering her rage, on purpose. "Cadets, you are dismissed, Cadet Hayashi will be given a punishment." Levi remained straddling her until the rest of the squad left. Levi let go of her hands and stood up, allowing her to get up herself. She turned to see him taking off his cloak and his jacket, hanging them up on a nearby tree.

"Take your anger out and someone who can handle it." Levi stood there, his feet slightly apart and his hands to his sides. He was waiting for her to advance first.

"Captain, I'm not sure I understand." He then began to circle her, watching her carefully.

"I know you had Cadet Braun on your mind, I could see it in your eyes. That was surely a nasty move you pulled on your squadmate." She turned her gaze to see him in front of her, almost mocking her it seemed.

"I do apologize captain." Levi was stopped directly behind her and wrapped his arm around her neck.

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing too." He squeezed his arms a little tighter, making her claw at them. She tried to kick his legs from under him, but he saw it too quickly. He moved his feet and pushed them into the back of her knee, making her kneel on both legs.

"If you want me to stop, you have to stop me yourself." He whispered in her ear, squeezing just a tad tighter. "Don't make me have to make you angry." She threw her body forward with as much momentum as possible, causing Levi's arms to get further around her neck, but he was thrown on the ground in front of her. Ichika's hands immediately went to her next, holding it as she caught her breath. Levi quickly got up from the ground and charged at her. She stood up, blocking the first few attacks with her hands, missing the kick he harshly delivered to her ribs. She groaned in pain and stumbled backwards.

"Come one, Cadet. I know Cadet Braun didn't go easy on you." As soon as he finished his sentence, she charged at him with anger, being the only one throwing kicks and punches. Most of which were blocked but she fought harder and harder. Ichika was fighting for not only her daughter, but herself. She couldn't let another man walk over again, her or Sakura.

After a few minutes of throwing different attacks at one another, Ichika finally landed a punch to his stomach, making him stumble. She took the opportunity to do the same move she did on Eld. Levi was fascinated by her moves, her strive to prove she was stronger than they thought. She jumped, wrapping her legs around his neck, elbowing him over and over again until she twisted her body, sending them to the ground. She pulled one of his arms and squeezed her legs around his neck.

"You're stronger than you look, are you sure you're fighting for yourself?" She paused, her legs loosened up and she felt tears stream down her face. Levi took the opportunity to flip her off of him and pin her to the ground, their faces inches apart. Her hands were captured in his above her head and she did nothing to stop him. His widened slightly when he saw her begin to cry, he panicked. Usually, he's just get up and let them, but his chest tightened when he saw her upset.

"I'm sorry Captain, I'm not."  She tried to stop her tears, but her emotions had been built up for years. She never told anyone how she felt, not Kaiyo, not Sakura. She was a single mother to a man she thought she'd be with for the rest of her life, only to be abandoned at the time she need him the most.

Levi let go of her hands, still straddling over her once again, letting her sit up and wipe her face. The next thing he did shocked them both, he wrapped his arms around her awkwardly. Her eyes widened, slowly accepting his embrace. She buried her head into his shoulder and cried, slowly turning into sobs. Ichika felt so broken inside. She didn't have her daughter, her brother, her family. She missed how simple life used to be before the wall fell.

"I think you are, that's why I chose you to be in my squad, idiot." She lightly chuckled at his comment and enjoyed his warmth. She hadn't been in a man's arms in years, and she deeply, deeply enjoyed it.
