My Outfit:
Today I'm wearing a white long sleeve turtleneck under a pink dress, platform sandals, a gray mask, a gold bumblebee necklace, a gold ring, and a gold watch.I'm sorry that I haven't updated my journal in a while. Lots of days, nothing interesting happened, or I had too much homework and didn't have time to write a chapter, or simply I forgot.
I had fall break two weeks ago, and that was a nice vacation. Although, I did have homework over break. I had chemistry homework, optional English homework, and Algebra II homework. Then I planned to do some extra studying. Over break, I had to make ten signs for my assigned sport since cheerleaders make the signs to hang up around the school.
My optional English homework was to begin reading my book for my independent reading project. I left for vacation on Sunday morning, and when I went to grab my book from my backpack, it wasn't there. I went to grab my book right as we needed to be leaving, so I started freaking out because I couldn't find it. Then I had to go before I got yelled at. When I got in the car, I texted my friends and asked them if they knew if I left my book somewhere. No one knew if I had. I remembered that I had taken my book out of my backpack during my study hall and placed it on a desk. However, I wasn't sure if I put it back into my backpack after this. I decided that I either left my book in my math teacher's classroom (where I go for study hall) or in the choir room. I emailed my math teacher, and he said that a book was left in his classroom. He asked me if I needed it for over break, and I said that I did not because I wouldn't be able to pick the book up anyway since I was already out of state. I was relieved to know where my book was, though.
Last week, in choir, we began a group project that correlates to Veterans Day. The project was due today, and tomorrow, we are presenting them to the class. For the assignment, we had to pick a song and make a parody to it relating to Veterans Day topics. I'm in a group with Olivia, Reagan, and Mia. I ended up doing most of the work for the project, haha. When I went home on Thursday, I finished writing the lyrics and worked on the way that we should sing it to make it sound right. On Friday of last week, we recorded us singing it, and I sent it to everyone to practice over the weekend. No one practiced except me. Then today and yesterday, we practiced and recorded us singing it. My group wanted to stop singing it, but I didn't think that any of the ones we had recorded were perfect because, at times, some people didn't start at the right time or didn't hit the right note. We had ten minutes of class left, and they wanted to quit, so I had to beg them to give it one more go. We sang it once more and were done, and it still wasn't perfect, but it was our best one. I'm going to make a video to go along with our song of soldiers coming home to their families and pets.
