A week later:

It's been a week since I got the text from Daniel saying I was fired, thankfully Carter didn't press charges. I've been ignoring Noah's texts and calls, he's come by my apartment but I'd hide in my room. I haven't let Jaden in either, I'll only leave the house if I need to. Today I've decided to leave to try to find a job. I was sitting in my Uber going to the first location. It was ten minutes away from my apartment. Once I got out the Uber I looked at the small cafe. It was really popular to where I lived so hopefully I'd get the job.

"Y/N, welcome so what brings you here today?" The owner asked and we sat in her office.

"I recently got fired from Daniel's coffee spot and was hoping to find a new job right away," I said and she nodded.

"Why'd you get fired? I thought you were Daniel's favorite worker? " She questioned.

"I had a falling out with another employee and Daniel had to follow to business policy," I said with a sigh.

"Well Y/N we needed a weekend worker and your resume checks out so welcome to the team of Sweet sunday's were breakfast is half off every Sunday," she said the moto and I smiled.

"Thank you again Jackie for having me today, I'll see you Friday morning right?" I said and she nodded.

"Friday at eight," Jackie said before we got up and left the office. As we walked out I made eye contact with him. I thanked Jackie again before quickly leaving the store with Noah behind me.

"Y/N hold on please," He said, grabbing my hand. I shook his hand off of mine and looked at him.

"What?" I asked and he looked at me concerned.

"What's wrong?" He asked and I shook my head.

"Do you love me?" I asked and he looked even more confused.

"Yes, of course I love you, what made you think That I didn't?" He questioned.

"Carter told me your friends went to the store laughing about me only being your sugar baby," I said, trying not to yell.

"They did?" He questioned and took out his phone. I stood there with my arms folded as he texted someone.

"I just asked Josh if they've been to your job in the past two weeks and he said no," Noah said and I felt like a complete idiot.

"Y/N whatever Carter told you was a lie and I can't believe you listened to him in the first place," Noah said and I sighed.

"I'm sorry, I should've known it was a lie, everything was just so perfect for us, anything could've made me doubt it," I said and he shook his head.

"I heard you got fired for burning Carter's face," Noah said and I nodded.

"He was being really rude and it got caught on camera but according to policy Carter got a two weeks leave while I lost my job over something he started," I said and Noah sighed.

"That sucks, but warning Jackie used to date a friend of mine and she's a little you know," He said and twirled his fingers near his head.

"Crazy, got it," I said and he chuckled.

"Do you want to o hang out for a bit?" Noah asked and I nodded.

"Sure," I said and he took my hand.

"Don't listen to anymore jerks," He said and kissed my cheek. I smiled and we walked down the street to some restaurant. We got some lunch before heading back to my apartment. We cuddled in my room for a while and Noah left around ten ish.
