Cristina has been working with Teddy non-stop after Henry's death. They are always running around the hospital, from the ER looking for cases to the OR working on the cases.

Cristina has noticed how Teddy has become a empty, walking shell of skin. Teddy shows no emotion anymore, she doesn't have her head-turning smile anymore. One that would light up the room, even if it was full of darkness. Her laugh used to be contagious, once she started everyone went with her. But not anymore.

One night, Teddy dragged Cristina down to the ER in a hunt for more cases. She needed something to help her with the pain. For some they turn to alcohol, some to drugs but for Teddy she needs a rush, and her rush is surgery.

When Teddy and Cristina had gotten to the ER they noticed that there were no surgical cases, Cristina looked outside and she noticed that it was pouring cats and dogs. Cristina thought that this would be the perfect time to try to get Teddy some sleep. She looked over at her and Teddy was looking off into space, she saw the dark bags under eyes, hinting that she has not gotten any sleep in the past couple days and if she did it was only for a half hour.

"Teddy come follow me" Teddy looked at her and slowly came up behind her signaling that she would follow. As they slowly made their way to the on-call rooms Teddy started get fidgety. The thought of her having to get some sleep frightened her, she couldn't do it, every time she saw the man who haunted her dreams. The face of her dead husband.

When Cristina stopped at the door, she opened it and ushered Teddy in.

"No Cristina, I'm fine, i'm not tired." Teddy lied

"Your eyes tell a different story, Teddy please just come in. Please? Do it for me." Cristina begged

Teddy cautiously followed Cristina in, when Teddy was inside she noticed how dark it was. Ever since Teddy was a little girl she never liked the dark, she quickly turned the lights on, as Cristina was closing the door and locking it.
