I'm here for you, always

Part 14

It had been 2 days since the incident at the hospital. Teddy has been staying at Cristina's, they have not left the apartment, they have just stayed inside spending time together. Teddy has practically never left Cristina's side the entire time, only for bathroom breaks. Cristina has noticed that the trauma from the shooting has caused Teddy to stay in her headspace. Teddy is the same cuddly baby, but she just doesn't seem like herself, Jeremy really pushed her far into headspace.

Cristina was sitting on the couch watching her trashy TV, Teddy had woken from her nap.

"Hey bubs, whatcha doin?" Cristina asked as Teddy exited from their room.

"nofing, jus' want cuddles." Teddy replied wrapped in a blanket, walking towards Cristina

"C'mere my princess" Cristina said opening her arms to Teddy

Teddy sat down on Cristina's lap, and put her head in the crook of Cristina's neck. Cristina was absolutely loving baby Teddy, always getting snuggles, but it really was starting to worry her.

"Teddy, baby?" 

"hmmm?" Cristina's vanilla scent was putting Teddy to sleep

 "I was wondering if you want to go see Addison, Callie, Stephanie, and all the other littles? I think it would be good for you." Cristina asked nervously

"no momma, i wanna stay wif you." 

"Babes, i'll obviously be with you." Cristina laughed a little

"promise?" Teddy asked holding her pinky out

"Promise" Cristina replied taking hold of Teddy's pinky

Cristina held Teddy a little tighter after, she really couldn't lose her, or let anything happen to her. Life without Teddy is not a life worth-living.

"You ready, baby?" Cristina asked getting out of the front seat to grab Teddy from the back.

"i guess" Teddy didn't know why she was nervous, she just was.

Cristina picked Teddy up and out of the car, carrying her on her hip. Teddy rested her head on Cristina's shoulder and started suckling on her thumb a little.

"Hey guys! How's it going?" Cristina said as she got closer to everyone at the picnic table.

She got a 'hi' from all the littles and Callie, and Steph.

"Hey Cristina, how's Teddy?" Addison asked coming up to Cristina, and stroking Teddy's hair.

"She's ok" Cristina replied

"Oh well that's good" Addison said not believing it, but before she could say anything more Callie came up to them

"Well hello Teddy bear!" Callie said in her baby voice

Teddy turned her head blushing, and whining to Cristina

"Bubs, why don't you take a  nap, your tired." Cristina whispered to Teddy

Teddy nodded her head in response, Cristina started to bounce her side to side.

It had been 30 mins since Teddy had fallen asleep, all the mommies were sitting at the table talking with each other, while the other littles played.

"Cristina how is Teddy? Actually." Addison asked 

"She-she's ok? If i'm being honest, she hasn't come out of her headspace since we left the hospital the other day, it's kind of worrying me." Cristina replied
