I'm here for you, always

Part 15

Cristina and Teddy were spending their last few days of their break together trying hard to slowly ease Teddy out of her headspace. Teddy was really giving her a run for her money. When she wasn't in headspace it was only for 30 mins at most, until their last day, it was still late morning but Teddy hadn't slipped yet.

"Teddy baby c'mere." Cristina called Teddy from the living room

"Ok" Teddy was snuggled up in their bed reading.

When Teddy made her way to the living room Cristina was sitting on the couch with her arms open, signalling she wanted Teddy to come cuddle with her.

"I wanted to talk to you, bubs." Cristina whispered to Teddy once she got settled in her lap

"Ok, but first Cristina don't call me names. With you holding me and being called names are going to make me slip, and I just got 'big'. " Teddy explained, Cristina just giggled in response

"Fine, have it your way." Cristina said with a smirk on her lips

"You know Cristina, I can go right back to bed and my book, you may be really comfy but I will still go and do it." Teddy replied trying to sound threatening, but Cristina really couldn't take her seriously.

"Sure babe, like you would leave me for a bed and a book." Cristina laughed

"I will, watch me." 

A moment passed and Teddy still had not moved.

"I thought you were leaving." Cristina said trying to stifle her laughter

"i would but i'm warm and comfy." Teddy replied nuzzling her head into Cristina's neck

All Teddy got in response was laughter from Cristina

"what did you call me for?" Teddy was muffled by Cristina's neck

"Oh yeah-umm, since you are 'big' today, I was wondering if you would like to-uh- go to dinner with me tonight?" Cristina went from laughing to being nervous

 "I would really like that" Teddy had taken her face out of Cristina's neck and was smiling. "Just try not to make me slip." Teddy laughed

"Well of course not, so do you want to watch tv with me? Or go back to your book?" Cristina asked excited about their date.

"I would but if I stay like this, i'm going to slippppp. So back to my book." Teddy was kind of disappointed, she would love to slip and have her mommy carry her but she couldn't because she wouldn't be able to get out of her headspace for their date and for work the next day.

"Alrighty then." Cristina stood up, still holding Teddy

"Cristina! Stop! What are you doing!?" Teddy asked with surprise and annoyance in her voice

"I just want to snuggle a little first." Cristina whined

"Cristina no, i'm sorry, you know how much I want to, but it will push me over the edge." Teddy explained 

"Can't you just be little until we have to go?" Cristina asked hopeful

"I mean I can try, but it might be hard getting me out of headspace. If you're up for the challenge later, then sure, a couple hours can't hurt." Teddy agreed

"Yay" Cristina said followed by lots of kisses on Teddy's face

Cristina and Teddy made it to the room

"Do you want to take a nap?" Cristina asked with a yawn

"a nap wouldn't hurt." Teddy replied with a smile
