Part 12

At the park...

It was getting dark, Amelia and Stephanie had packed up and were first to leave. Meredith, Arizona, and Teddy were all in the car sleeping, and Cristina, Callie, and Addison were cleaning up, talking about what Stephanie had told Addie, and Callie.

2 hours before...

When Cristina left to go wake Teddy. Callie, Addison, and Stephanie were all talking, Callie explaining how her and Addison had been wanting a younger little (because Arizona and Meredith were toddlers in headspace). Stephanie had informed them that there were two people that they knew, who worked at the hospital, that were littles. Little, littles. They were Jo and April.

Addison immediately would love to have Jo, and Callie loved the idea of having April. 

"Yeah, I was talking to them one  very drunk night, and they both let it slip and we just kept talking about it. Neither of them have a caregiver and their preferred caregiver would be a 'mommy'. They are both around 1 1/2 to 2 in headspace, Jo is the younger one of the two." Stephanie explained to the two women with their jaws hanging open. 

Back to the present...

"You guys should totally ask them about it, you don't need to try anything but just introduce yourselves as caregivers." Cristina encouraged

"Ughhh... I don't know Cristina, I want to so badly, but I just don't want it to be awkward." Addison said

"You know what? I've been wanting this for, forever. I'm going to do it, I'll talk to April about it." Callie admitted

They had finished up cleaning, and were heading back to Callie's car to go get Meredith and Teddy. Teddy was sleeping, Meredith and Arizona were talking.

Cristina picked Teddy up and was walking back to her car, she had put Teddy in the back seat, and started driving to her apartment.

When they got there Cristina picked Teddy up and brought her upstairs to the apartment. Where Cristina changed Teddy's clothes, and put Teddy into one of her hoodies (Teddy never wore pants to bed). She changed herself into pjs and snuggled Teddy up close, Teddy had started sucking her thumb. Cristina really was the luckiest girl in the world, Teddy was so precious and innocent, Cristina had to protect her, from everyone and everything. 

Teddy woke in the middle of the night and she felt like she wasn't close enough to Cristina, so she got on top of her and lied her head down on Cristina's chest, so she could hear her heartbeat. Cristina woke at the sudden weight on top of her, she heard Teddy sighing sounding annoyed

"You ok, babe?" Cristina asked 

"no, I don't know how to explain it, I just- I want to feel closer to you." Teddy said blushing

"Ok, don't worry, it's ok. You don't need to be embarrassed, just give me a second." Cristina said getting out from underneath Teddy and out of bed. 

Cristina went into her closet and returned carrying her hoodie, she was just wearing a sports bra and shorts. Cristina took Teddy's hoodie off and put shorts on her, too. 

When Teddy told her that she didn't feel close enough, Cristina remembered Callie telling her that younger littles liked skin-to-skin contact.

Cristina picked Teddy up and lied down with her on top of her, Teddy sighed, she was happy, now that she felt 'close' enough to her mommy. Another reason why Teddy and Cristina were perfect for eachother, was Cristina always knew what Teddy wanted, she could read her mind.

"Better, baby?"

"yeah, momma" 

"I love you" Cristina gave her a kiss on the head
