I'm here for you, always

Part 20

Today, Cristina had the day off. She decided to go and check out Rolling Meadows, but she didn't tell Teddy about it. 

Cristina had just pulled into the neighborhood, as she drove to the "Main Building", the closer she got, the more colourful everything became. 

"No wonder Callie chose this place...it's right up their alley." Cristina referred to April and Arizona's sunshine-y attitudes. "Oh god.." Cristina looked a tad bit disgusted.

Cristina pulled into the parking lot, parked, got out and made her way inside the building. When she was inside the building, the front desk was empty, Cristina looked around and saw a sign.

'House and Apartment Availability and Tours-3rd Floor' 

Cristina rolled her eyes, found the elevator and made her way up. As the doors were closing, she heard someone yell. 

"Hold it!" 

Cristina put her hand between the door, making it open again. The lady hurried in, trying to catch her breath. 

"Thank you." The lady pressed the 3rd floor button, catching her breath, holding her little. 

 Cristina almost immediately recognized who it was, "Stephanie?"

Stephanie stood up, "Cristina?" Stephanie didn't think that Cristina would be there.  

"Hi..." Cristina waved awkwardly before seeing Amelia. "Hi Amelia." Cristina smiled. 

Amelia nuzzled into Stephanie's neck, blushing. "Baby girl... say hi." Stephanie whispered to Amelia, rubbing her back. Amelia took her face out of Stephanie's neck, still laying her head on Stephanie's shoulder. "hi." She whispered

"You're too cute." Cristina cooed. 

Cristina was never one to speak softly, or even coo at people. But all the littles she knew and interacted with were just adorable. 

Just as the elevator doors opened, Amelia hid her face in Stephanie's neck again. Stephanie followed Cristina out, and to the 3rd floor desk. 

"Hi ladies! My name Michelle, what can I do for you today?" The front desk lady smiled. 

"Uh..I-no we?" Stephanie looked at Cristina confusedly, "Are we both looking for houses?" Stephanie asked under her breath. 

"Umm...Yes. Both of us just want to see uhh..different house offerings." Cristina half-smiled.

"Well then, let me take a look." Michelle smiled.

As Cristina and Stephanie waited, Michelle tried to make small-talk. "You guys are a cute couple, and you have an even cuter little." Michelle cooed at Amelia. 

The two mommies, stood there surprised. Amelia blushed even more. 

"Oh, umm-" 

"We-we aren't together." Cristina interrupted Stephanie

"Oh my apologies, but she still is adorable." Michelle gestured to Amelia.

"Thank you." Stephanie grinned, rocking Amelia side-to-side.

"Oook...If you two follow me," Michelle stood up and walked out from behind the desk, "I can introduce you to our tour guide." 

Cristina and Stephanie followed Michelle to a new room. "This is Ellie, she will show you around and our different houses." Michelle pointed to a blonde lady sitting at a desk. Ellie stood up as soon as Michelle opened the door, and introduced herself to Stephanie and Cristina.
