I'm here for you, always

Part 3

It was getting late and Cristina really wanted her and Teddy to get some sleep, but Teddy wouldn't budge. Teddy was getting really upset with herself and Cristina, ever since Teddy had been a little girl anything and all things that upset her or bothered her made her really emotional and sad. Right now she wanted to leave to avoid sleeping, she wanted Cristina to leave her alone and let her leave but she wouldn't move. All this was upsetting her very much and she doesn't know why but she just wants to curl up into a ball and just cry.

Cristina noticed the tears forming in her eyes and moved out from in front of the door and she walked towards Teddy

"Teddy? Are you alright?" She asked as a stray tear fell down Teddy's face 

Cristina was getting really worried, but she thought that Teddy just looked so adorable. Cristina soon scoffed at herself for having that god-awful, but true thought in her head. She soon came back to reality and Teddy's actions really showed how much sleep was she needed.  She was being very grumpy and stubborn with her.

Cristina decided to take a very risky move, she walked towards Teddy and opened her arms, she didn't even know what was going on, Cristina doesn't show affection, but she had a feeling that this is what Teddy needed. Cristina wrapped her arms around Teddy, Teddy flinched at first at the sudden amount of affection but then soon melted into it.

Teddy was a little taller than Cristina but that didn't matter she let Cristina hug her and soon after Cristina felt Teddy nuzzle into her, like she liked the hug. Cristina loved everything happening right now, her heart exploded with joy, she just couldn't explain it, she could tell that Teddy also was loving the hug. Along with the hug Cristina would whisper nice things into Teddy's ear while rubbing her back.

A bunch of "Your ok", and "It's alright"

Teddy didn't understand why but the feeling of having Cristina hugging her and whispering to her was very comforting, and she needed that right now. She nuzzled into Cristina's neck a little more, she could smell her vanilla perfume, it smelled delightful. Teddy could feel her eyelids getting heavier, she tried to keep her eyes open, she can't sleep, the nightmares will come back.

Cristina could feel Teddy's body getting a little heavier, and knew that Teddy was trying to fight sleep. So Cristina broke the hug. Teddy was very upset, she could feel the tears starting to come back. She didn't know why she was so upset but she just wanted come comfort, she already missed Cristina's perfume.

Cristina sat down on the bottom bunk of the beds and took Teddy's hand.

"Come here, come lie down with me" Cristina said with a soft voice, one she never knew she had

Cristina had already lied down and was scooting over to make room for Teddy, Teddy reluctantly listened to what Cristina had asked her what to do and she got into bed with her. The thought of the nightmares had disappeared all Teddy wanted right now was to be with Cristina, for her to hold her again , to smell her perfume.
