"Hey, Icy hot! C'mere."

Todoroki blinked and stared at Katsuki, taking in the serious look before rising to follow.
"Is this about Izuku?" The blonde scoffed,
"What else would it be about? He won't talk to me, fucking obviously, but I've known him since we were kids yeah?" Shoto nodded in agreement, waiting for Katsuki to continue.

Bakugo's palms sparked in aggravation.
"Fuck, he's lying about what happened. He's a pretty shit liar."

"I already figured that out. Why did you come to me?"

"Aizawa tried to get the truth outta him but he's getting nowhere. I remembered something in the news a few years back," he eyed the other boy with a speculative glance, "A scandal about the hero Endeavour and his youngest son."

Shoto looked away from the other boy, jaw clenching.
"Fuck, look, I'm not saying it to be an ass for once, but he might speak to you. Same sort of situation and all that shit." He muttered the last part absently as he crossed his arms.

Todoroki blinked again.
"I thought you hated Midoriya."
Katsuki grumbled as his face started to flush red.
"You gonna help him or not Icy Hot."

Eyeing up the embarrassed boy he raised an unimpressed eyebrow.

"Of course."

Izuku's stomach grumbled loudly as he walked down the corridor, lunch was half way over and he planned to get his food from the Cook Hero: Lunch Rush, he had heard amazing stories about that man's food and as it was his first full day, he was definitely going to chow down.

Sitting down and ordering his food, Izuku had just filled his mouth with a big scoop of rice when someone sat in front of him. His head quickly rose as he struggled to swallow his mouthful.
"To *cough* Todoroki!" He gasped, "How are you?" He shifted uncomfortably as the grey and blue eyes of his classmate bored into him and the silence stretched.

"I don't believe you."

For a moment the greenette was confused.
'Don't believe what? OH!'
Instantly he was staring at his food and swallowing nervously.
"Why- why not?" He heard the other boy lean forwards,
"You aren't a very good liar Midoriya. It's quite obvious actually." Izuku felt the blood drain from his face as he swallowed, his throat suddenly dry.

"I'm not saying it to scare you or pressure you." Shoto reassured, "I'm saying that I know why you lied because I've been there."

Izuku was stunned. Was Todoroki saying what he thought he was? The boy in question sighed and continued, his voice strained.
"My father called it training. The police thought otherwise. It took me a few years to realise that it wasnt my fault." Mismatched eyes met green, "Just like it isn't your fault."
