Hello! I am sorry I know it has been a while, but I've been super busy with work and my family but I am trying to come back.

Enjoy!!

I am walking down a hallway- it is eerily quiet and dark, but I know where I am. I would never forget this place. I walk on tip toes trying to make as little noise as possible, praying that I make it to the front door.

"Selene." Liam calls out for me and I turn around looking into the darkness, as usual trying to figure out where to hide before he finds me. "Come on now. You know how these ends. I always find you." He taunts as I run down the hallway and duck into a closet. I hold my breath as he walks past the door and into the living room. I wait a couple seconds until it is clear for me to move, before slowly opening the door and speed walking to the direction he came from. It leads to his room, but I can get out of the house by his window. If I make it to his room, I'm free. I peek behind me to see a large shadow following behind me. I reach his room and turn the handle; it doesn't budge.

No! No! I think jiggling the knob harder. I hear him getting closer and I push with all my might against the door. Once. Twice. A third time and the door busts open causing me to fall into the room. Only it's not his room like it was supposed to be, it is the bathroom. I stand up and turn to the door and he is right on top of me, a sinister smile crosses his face.

"I win." He says and his body covers mine.

"NO!" I scream jolting out of the bed in a cold sweat, Otis meows as he follows me off the bed. Another scream rips from my throat and it takes me a moment to realize that the sound came from me. I sink to my knees stifling a sob, as my heart beats erratically. Otis stretches his long body before coming towards me, purring and rubbing against me. I hug him to me, shaking uncontrollably.

"You're alright Selene. You are safe." I mutter to myself breathing deeply, trying to calm myself. My heart rate slows and I stand up, my legs feeling weak. Otis still in my arms and walk him to the kitchen to feed him, I place his bowls on the floor and refill them. He munches happily on it as I stand there in a daze, how long will this last? Months? Years? When will my life go back to normal? I go back to my room and go to my dresser looking for an outfit, I pull out a gray button up shirt and black slacks. laying them on my bed I leave the room and walk to the bathroom. Turning on the shower, I climb in and stand under crying silently. Grabbing my bath pouf, I squirt some soap on it and start scrubbing my skin as hard as I can still feeling him on me. My skin is red when I stop and even then, I feel dirty. I quickly wash my hair and get out wrapping a towel around myself and heading back to my room. I sit on my bed, debating if I even want to leave the house today.

Don't let this stop you Selene. I try to encourage myself as I stand up and get dressed, towel drying my hair I run a brush through it and put it in a neat ponytail before sliding on a pair of black flats and brushing my teeth. My phone rings: Aviva is trying to FaceTime me. I hit the accept button and am greeted to a big diamond ring instead of the face of my best friend.

'He proposed!' She screams jumping with the phone in her hand.

"That is so great Aviva! When?" I ask her as I grab my charger and blazer.

'Last night, can you believe it?' She asks, shoving the ring in the camera again.

"That is awesome Vi." She stops shaking the camera and looks at me concerned.

"Hey are you okay?" She asks me.

No.

"Yeah I am fine. I am so happy for you Aviva." I brush it off, not wanting her to worry. I don't want to mess this up for her.
