Chapter 14 - Vampires

Edwin arrives at the clearing where he left Alexa and found her sleeping, her skin pale and he couldn't feel the heat that he usually felt coming from werewolves and he was feeling at the beginning of the journey. He tried to shake her awake but she didn't open her eyes, he touched her hand and it was cold, almost like him.

Concern filled him, he felt his chest tightened and tried to listen to her breathing and heartbeat and felt her shallow breathing and the steady heartbeat.

- Please Alexa! Wake up! It isn't your time yet! You can't leave me alone! Not after all that I have said to you and I couldn't apologize! I don't think werewolves are weak or that you're weak! I know how strong you've been!
