Everyone was busy that morning, Truman hadn't seen Charles since last night when they finally consummated their love, kt was even better then he imagined it would, but now it was just a memory that kept him ready and working as hard as he could, so they would have much more nights like the one they had.

With Arya's help, all the traps were already finished, the cauldrons of the pitch were ready on the walls, the archers had trained and chosen their place to better aim the enemy, everyone ls his soldiers knew what to do when the bell rang, Flora was rearranging her cavalry, so they would help with the wounded and take the place of the fallen, in a very oiled machine, where no piece was left behind if they try the siege as Alexa thought they would encounter a terrible force. They had been preparing and enacting this all their lives, Truman was somewhat anxious to begin the fight and that was making him jumpy, it would be better if they finished this right away or he would go crazy.

The team Alexa explicitly asked for to go with them had killed any vampires or werewolf squad that tried to have a peek of what was happening in the castle, and that was critical for the success of the battle. Alexa appeared right next to him, making him jump. "So everything has been prepared?"

"Yes, Alexa, everything is ready. We are just finishing some things."

"Good! We will go to the camp at dawn, I don't want any surprises so it's better when the day is upon us, so tell your men to be ready at that time. When Michel's team reach the wall, asked them to come to see me, they need to be made aware of the new orders, and I want to talk to them."

"It shall be done, they must arrive at lunchtime," Truman commented looking at the horizon from the walls, he saw a black smoke collum that indicated where the camp was.

"Thank you, Truman. I'm going to take Andrew and Elia with me, do you have anyone else in mind?"

"Sam and Gwen, but I don't know how well they'll work with Michel's team, they kind of don't like each other. Mary John and Ginna are excellent fighters, but they are the kind of person that works by the rules, Michel on the other hand, likes prefers to ask forgiveness than for permission."

"That might be good for them to cancel each other out, one is strict and the other wild might be what I need. Please tell Mary John and Ginna to come to talk to me, preferably before Michel's team arrive. And what do you think about Patricia and Schirouca?" She asked, pensive.

"Patricia is an extremely good fighter, even though she is impulsive and could use some lessons on weapons, Schirouca uses more force than skill, he is an average fighter. As I've said, they could use some training."

"Thank you for the assessment. I'm going to the dining room when you find Mary John and Ginna, please sent them that way."

"I'll do it." Truman bowed as Alexa left.

He hurried to find the women that he needed to send to Alexa. He found the first one on the shooting range, she was training with a crossbow, her weapon of choice. "Mary John!" He called her, the woman in her late thirties looked from the target to Truman, her short dark hair flowing with the movement and her eyes dark brown held joy, she made her way to him, with a smile on her lips, she reached him and greeted him with formality, "Mary, you've been selected by the Queen for a mission, she expects you to be in the Castle's dining room as soon as you can."

"I'll go immediately!" She answered him, making a courtesy.

"Please don't make me regret to refer you for this task!"

"You won't, sir!" She agreed with a smile, turning her back to Truman when he signaled that she was dismissed.

Then the next woman, he found her in the medics tent, making provisions for the fight, she was a middle-aged woman, in her early fifties, with short brown hair, tied in a little bun, her face was marked with wrinkles of smiles and sadness, her eyes light brown told Truman how much she had lived and enjoyed living with all the good and bad she had gone through. "Gwen," he called her, she looked up to him and made a courtesy, "the Queen selected you to go on a mission, you should go to the Castle's dining room as soon as possible!"
