"You need to turn Alexa, we need a little bit of fur and blood." Said Edwin, drawing his blood to the container with the blue concoction.
'I know... But I'm afraid my wolf will not control herself between so many vampires."
"I'm here Alexa, right next to you. I'll not let anything happened, trust me" Edwin told her, pulling her into a hug.
"Okay, I'll do it." Alexa closed her eyes, the crackling sound of bones breaking and rearranging sounded so loud, white fur covered her body, and instead of a standing woman, stood sited a white wolf:
"Impressive!" Sounded Diego, right next to Edwin.
"I know, mate! Now, Alexa, I will take a few strands of fur."
Alexa could feel his cold hands on her skin and heard the blade cutting through the fur "Now, this is done. You can turn back to human."
In the blink of an eye, Alexa transformed from the wolf to the human body, she was smiling, as if something was funny.
"What is it?" Edwin asked her.
"My wolf, she doesn't mind vampires anymore," She told him.
"Good, we might have to fight alongside vampires to stop this war." He said. "Now your arm, please."
Alexa extended her arm to Edwin who used the knife to cut until a few drops fell into the concoction.
"The hard part is yet to come. We can't predict how will Lucius wake up and how will he react to the news we have for him. But it's better if Diego goes fetch some blood, what do you think?" Asked Edwin starting into Diego's eyes.
"I'll be back as soon as possible," Diego said leaving the room.
Lucius room was spacious, and almost empty apart from some macabre paintings on the walls and the master bed in dark wood with carvings of strange creatures like gargoyles, watching over the sleeping vampire, is skin with almost translucent, red veins were visible through the skin, his lips blood-red, his hair black as the moonless night or the chalk. the arms were crossed on his chest, like a corps ready to be buried.
Edwin sat up on one side of the bed and made a signal for Alexa to sit across from him. Alexa did what Edwin told her and they sat Lucius on the bed, Edwin brought the portion to his lips and made the elder vampire drink it till the last drop.
A few moments of silence passed by, while they waited for him to wake up, until Alexa and Edwin shared a look that said they didn't believe it had worked, relieving a bit of the tension.
It was in an instant that Alexa found herself pinned to the wall, one hand on her neck and another had stabbed her knife in her arm, right in her wrist, a cry of pain escaped her lips, and tears formed on her eyes, she looked down and saw brown eyes with red dots on his iris, filled with anger "Uncle stop!"/Edwin asked, rubbing the same wrist that Alexa had been stabbed in.
"It was you! You brought to my house this thing!" He growled, his voice rough and loud.
"She helped heal you, she's my mate, let her go!" Edwin told him, getting closer to his uncle.
"Traitor!" Lucius shouted.
Edwin grabbed the shoulder of his uncle, but he retaliated, punching Edwin on his face. While they were dueling, Alexa grabbed every ounce of strength she had and pulled the knife out of her wrist, feeling her hand dead, he had sliced through the muscle that gave movement, she was lulled from her quick thoughts when a sharp like bite pain hit her on her leg and she knew it was Edwin.
She jumped, growling she turned, her white won't be ready to attack. Edwin flew against a wall and Alexa jumped on Lucius, trying to pin him down, he kicked her making her whimpered in pain. Lucius found the knife on the floor and grabbed her, ready to strike against Alexa, when Edwin turned onto his Lycan form growling.
