Chapter 23 - Lycan

They left the cave knowing that nothing would ever be the same. They had found the feelings they had acted on them and because of that everything could be lost or on the other hand, they could begin anew.

The path that laid ahead was one of the difficulties and obstacles that either led to an open war or the long-lasting peace they wanted so badly.

It was night when they emerged from the depth of the cave:

- We need to go to Zulcan! - Alexa worded absentmindedly.

- If we go to Zulcan we might not get to Lucius in time to save him. We are the only ones who can heal him. And he might be the only one able to stop the army that is marching towards Zulcan. - Argued Edwin looking into Alexa's eyes, concern marked his face with a thin line on his forehead.

- I know but if we don't go to... - Alexa began wording but stopped her eyes turned white and a glow surrounded her.

Edwin knew that the sorcerer from Zulcan was attempting communication with Alexa and he crossed his arms waiting for them to finish.

Alexa was pulled to a dark place, only she was glowing, she was confused about what was happening, in one moment she was with Edwin at the entrance of the cave and the next she was here in darkness as if someone put a bag over her head.

- Hello? - She tried calling.

- Alexa? Oh, Dear Spirits I've made it! - A voice familiar to Alexa sounded and moments after she could see Arya, in her usual colored dressed, glowing with an orange aura.

- Arya what is this?

- We don't have much time! I could harness the power of the new moon with the help of the pack to talk to you. We will be attacked by an army of creatures.

- I know. Here are my orders, prepare the fortress and the traps, do not engage until engaged upon. Call to every able man and woman to pick up arms and teach them the basics. I hope I can avoid this war. I'll go to Elatre to try and stop it.

- But isn't vampires attacking us.
