I walked for about twenty minutes not knowing where Justin was. It was a nice night, a cool breeze flowing through my fur, the sky sprinkled with stars. I sniffed the cool air feeling myself smile as I shivered. I sniffed once more because I smelled something familiar. "Tom?" I asked myself. I followed the scent to a nearby alleyway and what I saw horrified me. "What the..." I said. "Oh shit babe... it's not what it looks like," Tom said, panicking. "I think i know what it looks like," I growled looking at Justin and Tom holding each other tightly. "Babe... please... you have to believe me," Tom said. "I don't know what to believe anymore," I said running away from them. Tears streamed down my face as the air struck my fur with what felt like icy daggers. I stumbled into a nearby abandoned building as I heard rapid footsteps behind me. I ran all the way to the top of the building and let out a sigh as I wiped my face of tears. I walked over to the edge and sat down feeling myself starting to cry again and i didnt put up any protest. "Hey Shino... I just want to-" I heard Justin say but I cut him off by drawing my kitana and put it under his chin. "You have no right to even speak my name... so do us both a favor and just leave..." I growled as tears streamed down my face. "Look, i'm sorry okay?" Justin pleaded. "I know," I said as Tom burst through the door of the roof. "Babe, trust me, it's not what it looks like okay?" Tom said quickly. "Then what was it huh?" I yelled. "When I see my husband and 'boyfriend' making out, what the hell am I supposed to think about it," I yelled. They were silent. "Just... leave," I said, sheathing my kitana. "Fine, but I'm going to need that back," Justin said. I took off Justin's jacket and tossed it to him. "It was fun Shino, too bad it had to end," Justin said, walking away slamming the door behind him. "Please... don't do what I think you're going to do," Tom said crying. "What does it matter," I said. "Because I love you," Tom said, sitting down next to me. "I know you do," I said wiping my face again. Then there was silence. The only sound was the wind blowing softly around us. "I-I love you too,'' I said softly. "Are you sure?" Tom asked. "I am," I said. "I know you didn't mean anything by it, I just over thought the situation. So I'm the one who's sorry," I said. "There's no reason you need to be sorry," Tom said, laying down. "I guess so," I said, laying down next to him. I felt his hand go into mine and I squeezed onto it tightly. "I missed you so fucking much," I said getting closer to him. "I missed you so much more babe," Tom said, holding me close to him. And I just melted into his fur. "You're... just so soft, and warm," I said, burying my face into his chest hair. "Yah, i've been tryin to condition my fur more frequently," Tom said smiling as his tail wagged fast behind him. I let out a sigh. "Why did I ever leave you?" I asked him. "Cause I kind of told yah to," Tom responded. "But promise you won't ever leave me again?" Tom said seriously. "I won't ever think of leaving you," I said feeling my tail wag fast. "Good boy," Tom said, stroking my head. "You wanna go home?" he asked. I just nodded in response, too tired to say anything else. I felt him pick me and my velvet sack up and we started walking home. "I love you so much babe," Tom said. "I love you more..." I said. And with that we went home, our tails wagging fast behind us. Before I fell asleep I gave him a quick look. And when I saw him... I knew.
