When He Gets Down on One Knee

I woke up late Saturday morning with the smell of coffee in the air. "What, happened?" I asked out-loud. I looked around seeing that I was home. Then I realized that I was clutching my sword in its sheath, not its casing. "Hey! Mornin sleepy head," Tom said, walking in with his sleep shorts on a cup of coffee and a smile. "H-Hey babe, good morning," I said exhausted. "You fell asleep at Mika's party last night so I decided just to bring you home," he said. "Well thank you, for doing what you did last night," I told him. He smiled and his tail wagged a bit faster. "Isn't that what a good husband would do?" he asked smiling as he walked into the kitchen. "Yah," I said out-loud knowing that he wouldn't hear me. I finally got to my senses and got out of bed. I put my sword back in its velvet sack and went into the kitchen to see what Tom was making for breakfast. "What's for breakfast?" I ask sleepily. "Oh I wanted to take you out for breakfast this mornin if that alright with yah," he said, his tail wagging behind him. "Of course it's alright with me babe," I said kissing him. He smiled when we detached from each other. "Where do yah wanna go?" he asked. "I'm not really sure to be honest, what place would you recommend?" I ask him propping myself up on the kitchen counter. "I think i know of a pretty good breakfast place around the corner, you wanna walk or drive?" he asked. "Mind if we walk today?" I ask him. "Not at all, but it looks like it's gonna be a chilly one today, you can take my jacket if you want," he said, finishing his coffee and putting the empty mug into the sink. "You won't get cold?" I ask him. "Whatcha think all this is for?" he asks me, pointing out all of the hair on his body. "Well true, but you're still going to be cold and I don't want that," I said. "Babe," he says as he takes off his sleep shorts and starts putting on his jeans, "I'll be alright, as long as you're not cold, then that's all that matters," he says smiling. "Damn it you're such a romantic," I say smiling as I feel my tail wag a bit faster. "But come on and get ready, I'm starvin," he says, buckling his belt and putting on his shirt. "Babe!" he says waving his hand in front of my face. "Oh sorry," I say laughing a bit. "You can stare at my bod later, but let's get some food in that tummy of yours yah?" he asks. I nod as I get dressed and putting on Tom's leather jacket. "Wow, this is so warm,'' I say, amazed. "Right?" He asks me rhetorically. "Come on let's get goin," he says grabbing my hand and leads me out of the door. "Oh wait," he says, parking me outside of the house. "Be right back!" he says as he hurries back into the house. "Wonder what he's up too," I think out loud. "Back!" he yells as he closes the door and locks it behind him. "Here yah go," he says, giving me my velvet case. "Thank you, totally forgot about this... again," I said. "And... there's this," he said getting down on one knee. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" I say excitedly. "Moritaka Hiroshima, would you make me the happiest wolf alive, and be my husband?" he asked me, tail wagging faster than I've seen it wag in years. "Oh fuck yes," I said. He smiled so wide and picked me up and started spinning me around. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" he says while giving me a bunch of kisses. I laughed a bit. "No babe, thank you," I said putting the ring on my finger. "You don't even know how happy this makes me," he said putting me down gently. "I think that I have an idea,'' I said, gesturing to his tail. "Wow its waggin like crazy huh?" he asked. "Well I would assume it would because mine is wagging like crazy too," I said smiling. We both smiled and kissed each other. While we were in the middle of making out Tom's belly growled. I rolled my eyes. "You just had to ruin the moment didn't you?" I asked Tom's belly poking it. "Haha babe that tickled," he said laughing a bit. "Wait babe," I said. "Yah?" he asks. "Does this make me Moritaka Kamui?" I ask excitedly. "If you wanna take my last name then sure!" he said happily. I smiled when he said that. "So we gonna go eat or what?" he asked me. I kissed his belly then looked up at him. "Of course we are babe," I said smiling happily. "Awesome," he said offering his hand. "Then let me show you the best pancakes in town, you'll love it," he said smiling. "Just like-," I said. "Five years ago," Tom finished my sentence. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me to my feet. "Lead the way babe," I said resting my head on his shoulder as we walked. "That was the plan after all," Tom said laughing. "I love you babe," I said holding his hand a bit tighter. "Well I love you more," he said holding mine a bit tighter too. And at that moment, I think both of our tails started wagging a bit faster.
