Meeting Tom's Parents

We got to Tom's parents house in about two hours. Traffic wasn't that bad on the freeway and it was a pretty quiet ride. The only sounds were the AC blowing cold air and mine and Tom's tail brushing the back of the seat as we weld each-others hand. "Here we are," Tom said excitedly, pulling into the driveway. "Kamui!" I heard a female yell. The front door swung open and a middle-aged female wolf beastwoman ran out. "Hey mom," Tom said, getting out of his truck and giving her a hug. "How are you feeling, are you hungry?" she asked. "I always am." he said laughing. "Oh hey mom, this is my husband Shino," he said, gesturing me over. I walked around the side of the truck and waved hello. "Hi Shino, my name is Brittany, but you can call me Mom if you would like," she said smiling. "Nice to meet you," I said smiling back. "When's dad gonna be home?" he asked her. "Well I'm not sure, he's still at work so he's going to be home in a couple hours or so, but in the meantime come on in!" she said, gesturing for us to come inside. We walked inside and Mom closed the door behind us. Me and Tom sat down on the couch and I leaned my velvet casing beside me as I laid down on Tom's lap. "There ya go my little pup," he said rubbing my side. "Anyone want any lemonade?" Mom asked us. We both nodded. "Dad is going to pick up breakfast, can you guys wait?" Mom asked. We both nodded again. I heard her laugh quietly then disappear into the kitchen. "So, whatcha think about mom?" Tom asked me as he started to rub my head. "I think she's nice, very energetic," I said pushing my head into Tom's palm. "Really, you wanna do it right now?" he asked me laughing a bit. "Maybe," I said, smirking. "You're so fuckin cute," he said, kissing me. When we detached from each-other mom came back with a large pitcher of lemonade, a couple glasses, and a plate with cookies on it. "Now Tom, save some for Shino please," she said smiling. "I will," Tom said cuddling me. He then reached over and got a cookie from the plate and bit into the cookie almost eating the entire thing. "Want some?" he asked, swallowing. "Sure," I said laughing. He got another cookie and I opened my mouth and he dropped it in. I chewed a couple times and swallowed it. It was soft and chewy but didn't break apart easily, which in my opinion is a perfect cookie. "Nice work on the cookies, they are very yummy," I said. "Well thank you Shino, at least someone cares about my cooking," she said giving a stern look at Tom. He laughed when he saw her giving him a look. After we finished the cookies I heard a car pull into the driveway. "Here he comes," Tom said excitedly. "Is it dad?" I asked. He nodded smiling wide. "He's gonna love you," he said getting up from the couch. "I sure hope so," I said following Tom. The front door opened and an older male beastman walked inside. "There's my boy!" he yelled hugging Tom. "I missed yah pops," he said, hugging him back smiling. "I missed you to Kamui," he said letting go of Tom. "Say, have you been working out? You look like a beefcake," Tom's dad said laughing. "I try my best," Tom said, flexing. "Oh dad, this is my husband Shino," he said taking hold of my hand. I walked over and introduced myself. Tom's dad sniffed the air as he started to circle me. "Dad, don't creep him out," Tom said rolling his eyes. "A timber wolf, same age as you, he's got a nice build, I would say around 140, maybe 150 pounds. He eats well, and is loyal to you," he said looking at me. "Sorry for that, just have to make sure that my little boy has found someone that's good for him. My name is Max, but you can call me Dad if you want to," he said smiling. "My name is Shino, it's a pleasure to meet you," I said. "Also, how could you tell all that about me by just smelling me?" I was confused. "Of course I can, these eyes may be old, but they can still see far and clear," he said, giving me a pat on the back. "Hey Shino, I meant to ask you earlier, but what's that?" Mom asked me pointing to my velvet sack. I looked over at Tom. "We've got like twenty guns in the house, I think it would be alright," he said nodding. I walked over and picked up my sack then walked back to the group. I untied the string around the sack and took out my katana. "It's a memento of my father," I said unsheathing it. "Why, is it bloody?" Dad asked. I didn't say anything. I just turned around and took my shirt off showing them the scar on my back. "My god, what happened," Mom asked, concerned as I felt her touch my back. "I did it, it's a mark of our marriage," Tom said. They didn't say anything, they just stared at my back. "Did it hurt?" Dad asked me. "Just for a couple seconds," I said. "Weird," Dad said, touching my back. I nodded as I felt him trace my scar with his finger.
