I start hurrying off to class which thankfully is at the front end of the school. I open the door carefully hoping that the door wouldn't squeak. It didn't thankfully and I closed it ever so gently and took a seat in the back of the classroom. Every desk had a thick stack of papers on it and a pen next to it. On the front board it said in big bold letters, NO CHEATING. It's funny how teachers don't think that the only way that students ever pass any class is by cheating some way or another. I picked up the pen next to me and clicked the button on the top to eject the writing part of the pen when I heard it. Big heavy footsteps coming closer. "Oh babe," I sighed. "You never can sneak anywhere can you?" A few moments later, Tom burst into the room, the double doors slamming the sides of the walls. He put his hands on his knees and bent his head down trying to catch his breath. I looked over at him, and when I caught his gaze, his tail started wagging. "Mr. Kamui, pleasure of you to join us today. Quite an entrance you displayed." The teacher said, looking at him. "Sorry teach, forgot somethin at home." Tom said panting as he sat down next to me. "Here yah go babe," he said handing me my backpack and my velvet cloth sack. I opened the sack and saw the handle of my katana. I held the handle and slid the blade slightly out of its sheath to see the metallic reflection of my sleepy eyes staring back at me. I sheathed my sword and wrapped the string around the cloth and put it next to my bag. I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much babe," I said kissing him. "No prob," he said putting his head down on the desk still trying to catch his breath. "I'm just going to," I said, taking his test from beside his ears. I heard him sigh. "Thank you..." he said exhausted. "Of course, it's what a good boyfriend would do right?" I asked rhetorically knowing that he was gonna pass out any minute. He's built like a truck but any amount of cardio and he's done for.
