A while later, Hayley awoke with a start. The memories of the night, flooded into her mind. She dragged herself out of bed, despite the oncoming headache.
'That juice was definitely spiked.' She thought to herself as she made her way downstairs.
She saw a grumpy Jeff, sat at the table, but no one else.
"Where is everyone?" She asked, looking around the kitchen.
"Still asleep. Which is what you should be." Replied Jeff, getting up.
Hayley noticed multiple empty mugs of coffee on the worktop and hugged Jeff.
"Why did you stay up?" She asked. He sighed.
"I felt bad. I couldn't sleep, knowing what I did. And knowing that I didn't apologise." He said softly, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
"I'm okay, don't worry. It's my fault anyway." She said, soothing his hair gently.
He rested his head on her shoulder.
"I love you, Hayley." He whispered.
"I love you too, Jeff..." She said with a smile.
They both went to the living room and began watching YouTube, curled up in a lime green blanket, huddled together. Hayley fell asleep on Jeff's shoulder and he eventually fell asleep too.

When they awoke, they could hear the banging of pans.
"Ben, if that is you, I am going to fucking beat the shit out of you." Hayley growled and she could hear running footsteps. She got up and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat.
"SLENDY SHES GONNA KILL MEEEEEEEE!" Squawked Ben.
She aimed an arrow at him and he froze.
"Never. Do that again, you dickhead." Jeff growled, holding his knife to Ben's throat.
Jeff dropped his knife and began to shake. Hayley pushed Ben out of the way, throwing her bow on the floor.
She placed her hands on Jeff's shoulders gently as he hyperventilated.
"It's okay, you're okay. You're safe. They can't hurt you anymore." She whispered softly. She hugged him tightly, running her fingers through his hair. He relaxed and his breathing slowed to normal.
His baby blue eyes, filled with tears, and he smiled. She cupped his face in her hand and gently wiped away his tears. He hugged her tightly, as her slim, delicate, pale fingers, worked through his hair. Hayley massaged Jeff's scalp, feeling him relax.

A few hours later

Hayley could hear the strumming of a guitar and a soft voice. She wandered around until the voice could be heard from inside the room.
It was Jack?!
She silently snuck in as he sang. His voice was like velvet.
"A little sympathy, I hope you can show me
If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving, baby, let me down slowly
Let me down, down, let me down, down, let me down
Let me down, down, let me down, down, let me down
If you wanna go, then I'll be so lonely
If you're leaving, baby, let me down slowly"
He sang softly.
"I hold on to little pieces of what we were
I know we're long gone, but take it easy
Because it hurts

Don't cut me down, throw me out, leave me here to waste
I once was a girl with dignity and grace
Now I'm slipping through the cracks of your cold embrace
So please, please..." Hayley sang and he jumped.
"O-oh hey Hayley... I didn't hear you come in." Jack said, surprised.
She smiled warmly.
"You're a really good singer, Jack!" She exclaimed, her eyes glistening. He blushed.
"T-thanks. You're really good too!" He said with a smile, inviting her to come sit next to him.
She sat down beside him and bit her lip.
"Do you think Slendy'll let me go get some things from my hellhole of a childhood home?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Depends what it is." He said softly.
"My art supplies and my mum's spell books. Healing spell books." She said, looking into his eyes.
"It's possible." He said, looking into the deep ocean of her eyes.
She bit her lip.
"Will you come with me? If he does let me go?" She asked, looking down.
He hugged her.
"Of course." He said with a smile.
They got up, and headed to Slenderman's office.
"Is there a problem?" Slenderman asked, clearly annoyed about something.
Hayley massaged his shoulders and he instantly calmed down.
"Can I go and get some stuff from my old house?" She asked, calmly.
"Depends what it is." He said, struggling to keep his voice even.
She hugged him.
"Just my art stuff and my mum's spell books." She said softly.
He nodded.
"Very well. But Jack has to go with you, okay dear?" He said, looking into her eyes.
She nodded.
"I was gonna go with her anyway." Jack said, shrugging.

Hayley went to get changed, her long copper hair was starting to annoy her.
She went to Scars with a pair of scissors.
"Can you cut it.... please." She asked.
Scars nodded and got to work.

She went to Jack and he tilted his head

She went to Jack and he tilted his head.
"You cut your hair?" He said. It was more of a question than a statement.
"Yeah.... It was kinda starting to annoy me." Sh mumbled, looking at the floor.
He nodded in understanding.
"Shall we go?" He asked and she nodded.
She whirled, hearing the breaking of a chain.
She saw her locket in the hands of someone. Offenderman.
"GIVE IT BACK!" She screamed as her eyes filled with tears.
She jolted awake, tears running down my face.
She sprinted to Offenderman and said coldly.
"Stay the fuck out of my bedroom." He tilted his head.
"What're you talking about." He asked.
The realisation hit her.
"If anyone goes looking for me in my bedroom, and I'm not there, and you see a locket on a silver chain, Do not touch it!" She said, her voice fighting to not crack.
Jeff hugged her and put her long copper hair in a ponytail.
"You had a nightmare again... didn't you?" He whispered softly in her ear.
She nodded.
They could hear shouts from the kitchen.
"For fuck's sake!" She growled and walked to the kitchen.

"She don't see her perfect, she don't understand she's worth it
Oh, that beauty goes deeper than the surface. But she doesn't see that she belongs here.... Hayley, deserves to be happy." Hayley heard Ben say.
She stormed into the kitchen.
"Why the fuck are you talking about me?!" She growled.
"Hayley, don't start." Slenderman said warning her.

"Shut the fuck up Slenderman. You're fucking oblivious, so don't get involved!" She yelled.
"Oblivious of what?" He asked and she went red.
"That I fucking like you." She stated and then walked away.
