Chapter 20. Epilogue.

(This takes place in 1977. Y/n is 26 and Pony is 25 almost 26)
3rd person pov:
Y/n Winston-Curtis has now been Married to Pony for almost 2 years. They had moved into their own home and Y/n was pregnant with their first child. Yes she was 26 but she thought this was the perfect time to start a family. Pony and her had stable jobs, a pretty nice home, and support to take care of this child. Currently they were having a cute argument about what sex the baby would be. "Pony it's pretty clear we are gonna have a boy." "We aren't having a boy it will be a girl Y/n. I'm just saying." They wouldn't find out till the birth what they'd be having. "Ponyyyyy..." "It doesn't matter as long as the baby is happy and healthy I'm fine with whatever." "You're right Pone. Heh" He hugged her and rubbed her little bump you have on your belly. She heard a knock at the door.
Y/N POV:
"I'll go get it stay here." I said. I had opened the door and saw Dally and his wife, your sister in law Veronica. "Hi guys. It's great seeing you here." You said smiling and moving to the side allowing them to come it. "Congrats Y/n." "Congrats Sis. It's crazy how my baby sister is having a kid of her own. I feel old already." "I mean you are about to be 30 soon so you should feel old haha." I said to him. "I ain't old I'm still looking good." "Sure keep saying that." "Hey Dal, hey 'Ronica." Pony said walking into the room. "Hey Pony, Congrats on getting her good aye." Dally said to Pony talking about my bump. I had gotten embarrassed about him talking about it. I had gotten them some water and set it in mugs in front of them. "You ready to be a dad Pone." Dally asked him. "Eh yeah I'm sure it'll be fine. Her and I know what we are doing. Hopefully haha." He said laughing. "And you Sis?" "Yeah I'm ready, Pony have been wanting a kid for a while since we've been in engaged. So this should be fine hah." He nodded and Veronica started talking. "You know I've been telling Dal about having a kid for a while but he still won't budge. I'm only getting older and I still don't have a kid and you guys are already here at 26 having your first kid." "You're never gonna get to convince this guy. He hates kids." "I know but I'm trying haha." She said to me. Dally didn't like kids ever. Young kids may I say. 14 and up you were good but other than that he probably would be annoyed. He has dealt with me since I was born so it's different. But since he is older now he just won't.

Later on after that Pony and I had headed over to the gangs house. Darry was married with his wife Molly and had 2 kids, Micheal and Diane. Pony and I loved our niece and nephew. Since Darry had owned the gang house he lived there with his kids. Soda was also there hanging out, he was married as well with his wife Candace. He had only one kid with her so far, our niece Pepsi-Cola. He took that originality of his name and put that into his daughter. Everyone else had leaded their life as well but currently weren't home. So Pony and I sat on the couch with our family talking about life. "Y/n you ready for a kid?" Candace had asked me. "Ya know Candy I am ready but I don't think my sleep schedule will be, haha." I laughed. Although her name was Candace everyone called her Candy. "It was the same with us, having this little girl was a whole change to Soda's and my sleep schedule. But we've adjusted." Soda only nodded. "Yeah kids are hard to deal with but we know you guys will be fine. As long as the kid don't act like Pony haha." Darry had said to me. He always had bothered Pony but he was used to it.

I loved my new life,
I loved being married,
And soon having a child.
I'm glad I had that argument with my parents. Because if we hadn't, I don't think I'd ever have the amazing life I was now living in.
